If you’re an avid hiker seeking a blend of comfort, support, and durability, the Propét Mens Visp Hiking Shoe might just be the perfect fit for you. Designed with a precision knit and leather upper, this shoe not only emphasizes style but also provides essential functionality for trail enthusiasts.
The padded collar and tongue enhance comfort, while pull-on tabs at the heel and tongue assist with easy on-and-off wear. One standout feature is the use of OrthoLite® X40™, which is known for high rebound performance. With an elasticity rating exceeding 40%, this technology ensures that your feet remain cushioned even during extended periods of wear.
The EVA spacer allows for a customized fit, catering to individual foot shapes and preferences. Additionally, the EVA midsole, combined with a toe guard, offers substantial protection against rocky terrains, making these shoes reliable partners for your outdoor excursions.
Lastly, the outsole features Vibram® Arctic Grip® technology, ensuring that you maintain traction on wet and slippery surfaces—perfect for those unpredictable weather days.

The Propét Mens Visp Hiking Shoe sets itself apart from competitors through its combination of cushioning and grip. The OrthoLite® X40™ technology stands out by providing superior comfort and keeping your feet feeling fresh even after long hikes.
In terms of design, the balance between leather and knit fabric gives the shoe both a modern look and a rugged feel. The padded collar and tongue add to the overall comfort, which you’ll appreciate on extended treks.
Traction is another area where this shoe shines. The Vibram® Arctic Grip® outsole offers excellent stability on wet and icy surfaces, making it ideal for varied climates. Whether you're hiking on damp trails or navigating slippery rocks, you can trust that the grip will support your journey.
However, it’s worth noting that if you have narrower feet, you might find the XX-wide fit a bit too spacious. Sizing down could be a good option for a more secure fit. Additionally, while these shoes are robust, they are slightly heavier than other options like the Merrell Moab 2 and Salomon X Ultra 3, so keep that in mind if weight is a critical factor for you.
In summary, the Propét Mens Visp Hiking Shoe presents a compelling choice for hikers looking for a comfortable, durable, and well-performing footwear option. Its mix of quality materials and innovative technologies means you can tackle various terrains confidently.

These shoes are WONDERFUL. They look even better in person, beautiful craftsmanship, sturdy construction. I wear an EXTRA extra-wide, so I was worried they'd be too narrow but they're just right. And when I wished they might still be 1-2% less snug, I discovered Propet adds a SECOND removable insole which I removed and made the fit even more comfortable. I love these and just ordered a second pair (navy blue).
Very comfortable and priced nice
I have wide feet. These were to narrow for me.
The sole material is too soft. After a couple months they wedged out. The far outside edge permanently squished down while the inside edge does not, after a month or too it stops returning, and becomes a permanent sideways wedge as if you where standing on the side of your feet. I wish they would index the stiffness and durability of the foam.
They are "water resistant" not waterproof, despite being advertised as such. Too bad i put 3 miles on them before I realized or would have returned them.Follow up:Wore these on a 5 mile hike in September and the sole fell off about 3 miles in. First and last experiment with Propets.
