I've had such a hard time finding sneakers, not hiking boots, that are actually waterproof, so I can finally say these are. The fit and comfort are also pretty good, I give them an 8.5 out of 10 because of arch support though. However, I do have very high arches and usually wear inserts in my shoes. I got the maroon/pink color and really like them, I just wish I could slide my foot in to them versus having to untie or bend over to get the sneaker back on. But once again since they are waterproof, I will deal with that. They are also pretty roomy as I sometimes need a wide and I am fine with the regular version. Overall it's a great sneaker and I highly recommend. Just watch out for price changes quickly in different sizes. At one time I paid $103 for them and 2 weeks later they were $77, only to go back up to $135 the next day. CRAZY!
Purchased for a trip to pacific northwest needed to be waterproof for the rain and hiking, best fitting shoes in my closet.
I love my Merrell's in the Moab style I wear. I wanted a 'lighter shoe' more along lines of a tennis shoe and was pointed to the Bravada style. I need the foot and ankle support and a good tread to help prevent falling as I have ankle and knee problems. Bravada is well made and supportive; however, I could not get past the ' toe box' which seems small; my toes felt cramped together- very uncomfortable. I returned and am going with same size I normally wear but in a 'Wide' in the Bravada style. The wide feels much better all around on my feet.

I purchased these for a recent trip to Edinburgh, Scotland and the Scottish HIghlands and they were great! Very comfortable and waterproof. Highly recommend for city walking and light hiking!

No blisters! They are the most comfortable hiking shoes I’ve ever had! They are very waterproof. The only downside is that my feet get hot it them, but I choose waterproof over breathability any day!
