My son has played volleyball for 5 years now. He has had many different shoes. This is by far his favorite court and volleyball shoe. He says it has great traction, stop, and grip. He feels like it allows him to maneuver and move well. Overall the best shoe he has had so far.
A little taller (and feels a little more narrow) than the gel rocket… in my first game with them I fell like I was wearing high heels lol. But I quickly got used to them and now appreciate the better support compared to the rocket.
After almost 8 years of volleyball my last set of shoes needed to be tossed. I ordered these as they were the closest to my old Asics. They fit me perfectly (ordered size 12, I am between a 12 and 13). They provided good support and I felt very springy in my volleyball games

It doesn’t provide any support neither for the ankle nor for the arch, and it doesn’t absorb any shocks.
