BIOM AEX Knit Slip On
Product Details
This is my second pair of ECCO Biom shoes. The first pair I bought about seven years ago. They're made out of yak leather and they still look good today. A little wear on the soles, but the uppers are nearly perfect.Fast forward to this pair. Completely different in terms of construction, but one very important common denominator -- no foot pain. I have a painful instep on my left foot due to an old injury. I have worn numerous shoes over the years that provide relief to varying degrees. ECCO Bioms are the only ones that provide almost 100 percent relief. It's so nice to not have foot pain follow me around as I walk.My only knock, and it's small, is that they run a bit long. That's it. Otherwise, I love them and hope to phase out all my other athletic shoes in the years to come for ECCO Biom.
I have a high instep and arch, along with a narrow heel and a wide ball. I also have a significant amount of supination and general roll in my stride. ECCO shoes are almost always a great fit for my feet. And the external bracing on these particular shoes really helps stabilize my stride.
Havng a knit upper, these did not provide the support I need. Too much give even with tying the laces tighter. My foot still was sliding around in the footbed
I really love these! The molding around my heel and bottom of foot give me great stability when lifting weights and/or walking. Will get another set in different color.
