I've worn these shoes for multiple games of pickleball as well as a lot of casual use, and so far it's provided exactly what I needed -- comfort and lateral support. I like the style of the shoes and the materials used on them. As far as sizing is concerned, the length was spot-on, but I think the shoes are a slight bit narrow. When I compare this shoe to my other athletic (running) shoes, these are narrower, as much as 1/2". It's not a game breaker for me, but if your foot runs a bit wide, take that into account -- these shoes are not available in W sizes. Still I'm giving the shoe 5 stars for their quality and functionality.

Get these outdoor Gel Dedicate 7 shoes if you have weak ankles; I have not turned my ankles in these shoes. They fit snug around the heel and outer part at back of heel is very hard plastic/rubber that helps prevent the ankle from turning on it's side. Other shoes like my indoor Asics Gel Rocket are too soft without tight/firm heel support around the heel/back half of shoe & I have turned my ankles many times while wearing them.At first I thought these were too large but it was just the harder material around the toe area holding the longer form (really not as soft comfortable around the toes but that softness means less support also).I ordered another pair already of outdoor Gel Dedicate 7 due to the great heel/ankle stability.Bad: Not as soft comfortable as many due to the thick hard plastic/man made materials.Good: Only shoes I've worn without turning my ankles after playing pickleball for about 3 weeks 6 days a week & about 2 hours a day.Final Thought: Other manufacturers should consider a tighter firmer heel area to help prevent turning a weak ankle as there are so many people who have weak ankles.
I recently took up tennis again after a long layoff. I would normally expect to pay much more (over $100) for a quality, specialized,athletic shoe. I took a chance on these as I wasn’t sure if i would still be able to play at a level I’d feel comfortable with.I’ve now logged about 30-40 hours of competitive tennis in these shoes and am quite impressed. Very comfortable right out of the box. Excellent performance, support, and traction on hard surface court. They still look like I just took them out of the box. Also, and importantly, they stay tied without a double knot! This sounds like a given but many years of experience has taught me that it’s rarely the case with athletic shoes.I would highly recommend these shoes for anyone looking for shoe to wear for tennis.
I play pickleball 3-4 times per week for 2-3 hours each play event. I play year-round, indoor and outdoor, but when I snowbird, my play is totally outdoor year round. These medium-width (D) shoes fit my feet great, and best of all provide excellent support for my plantar. I only wear them to play, and they've lasted through a full year of outdoor play. I've tried numerous shoes that brag about their arch support, or they come with insertable orthotics, and those with reviews that claimed their shoes cured plantar fasciitis, only to aggravate mine after wearing them to play once. With these Ascics, I don't even notice I'm wearing them. It took a while, but I finally found a vendor with my size in stock through Amazon.
This product is relatively cheap and looks good. The downside is that it barely lasted 1.5 months before the sole started to get worn down. Asics support refused any coverage. You get what you pay for, just know that you may need to buy this shoe multiple times a year. Please think about whether it's worth it to buy a cheaper shoe multiple times a year versus a more expensive shoe that can possibly last for the year.
I am using this show for outdoor PickleBall. It is good stability wise. Fit is bit of an issue. It runs little wide. Shoe laces are also not very good. They keep coming off.
