When it comes to choosing the right tennis shoes, comfort, stability, and durability are key factors. The ASICS Men's Gel-Court Speed Tennis Shoes excel in each of these areas thanks to their advanced design features.
The PGuard Toe Protector ensures that the vulnerable toe areas are fortified against wear from hard court surfaces, meaning you can focus more on your game than worrying about damaging your footwear.
One standout characteristic is the Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Technology Cushioning System, which significantly attenuates shock upon impact. This is particularly beneficial during longer matches where fatigue can become an issue. Furthermore, this technology allows for smooth transitions throughout your gait cycle, promoting fluid movement as you pivot and sprint across the court.
The Trusstic System Technology also plays a crucial role in maintaining the shoe’s structural integrity while keeping it lightweight. This makes the ASICS Gel-Court Speed an ideal choice for players who require quick lateral movements.
However, it's worth noting that while the shoes provide ample comfort, some users with wider feet may find them slightly constrictive. Additionally, like most new athletic shoes, they may require a brief break-in period for optimal fit and comfort.

Very light weight yet still supportive. Great for speedy high acceleration/deceleration. Tends toward mediumish narrow-medium width, which would only be a problem for someone already a little tight in a standard medium width shoe. Unfortunately discontinued by asics, and none of the three replacement "FF" models compare to this perfect shoe. The shoes have very good durability for a high-gripping shoe. Any tennis shoe with better grip will wear out significantly faster, and any shoe with greater durability will not offer such amazing grip. If you prefer a hard-court sliding shoe, then there are better options, but not if grip is your thing.
I love these shoes, fit me perfectly. Light weight, no break-in, flexible, comfortable good traction and decent wear. I play 4-7 times a week for 1-2 hours per session. My Head shoes get better mileage but I like these better because they are lighter and cheaper. My foot is a little wide but the foot bed has plenty of room and length was perfect. Price is fair in today's market.
There has been a shortage of ASICS products and made it difficult this time. If you purchase product and like the style, it is recommended you purchase another pair immediately. Reportedly manufacturer will change there styles every six months and it is frustrating to me.
Awesome shoes for Pickleball! Great lateral stability. My feet get hot and these give plenty of venting while still maintaining the integrity of the shoes. Arch support is good, and there is a noticeable collar keeping the heel down. Gel in forefoot and heel is all-day comfortable. I play singles and these are great for fast cuts or sudden charges to the kitchen after a drop shot. Great shoes!
True comfort, great support, really grips the court like I would expect from a well built court shoe. True to size fit, I wear size 11, standard width, fits perfectly. No break in period needed!
I just tried these out after a month of having them and they are quite comfortable and supportive. Being brand new they are still quit ridged but hopefully they will break in quickly.
I've been wearing Asics Court Speed FF and FF2 for almost two years. I play Pickleball or Tennis 6 days a week and go through courts shoes about every three/four months. Because I'm on the balls of my feet most of the time, good Metatarsal cushioning is very important. My new pair started hurting the balls of my feet and I've never experienced this before, I took out the insoles from my new pair and compared the the insoles of my previous pair and the new insoles are much thinner. So I switched them and my feet are good now even with worn insoles. The arch support is also better. I don't know if Asics changed the insole design or if its just this one pair of shoes. Just a FYI.
