Bought this shoe for my 10-year-old son for club VB, playing on average 3 times per week, about 12-15 hours total (practices, then all-day tournaments on weekend). To say that my son is very particular about everything he wears and uses (clothes, socks, underwear, etc.) as far as comfort (and practicality) is concerned, is an understatement in the extreme. So I was concerned that these shoes would not pass his scrutiny, but he loves them and has no problem at all with fit, comfort, and functionality (i.e they actually give him traction on floors that are typically very slippery when wearing a regular/running athletic shoe). So kudos to ASICS for making a great kids volleyball shoe; they are solid and very well made, with plenty of support, and work great on the court. And for potential/interested buyers, I purchased the shoe at a half-size larger than he normally wears, thinking I’d buy a shoe slightly larger, so that he could grow into it over the course of the long season, but it fit him perfect right off the bat. So that might mean the shoe tends to run smaller than the actual size reflects? Not sure, but you might want to consider that factor.Overall 5 stars, though!
Fit true to size. Make sure you pay attention they are in child sizes not adult. I did almost make that mistake. Bummed I had to pay for shipping. Did have an issue with that and the company never called me back on it. But once they arrived they fit. Company ehhh shoes great. FedEx that delivers... horrible. But this is about the shoes right
9 year old needed volleyball shoes for a beginner. These are great! True to size, don’t slide on the gym floor, and super comfortable and well made. Very pleased!
Ordered in a pinch..daughters foot grew and needed shoes fast. They fit well, look good and are comfortable
I needed youth volleyball shoes quickly and had little luck finding any with reviews that gave me at least some hope they would arrive quickly and as described. So Not only was I truly relieved when the ASICS Upcourt 3 GS Youth Volleyball shoe I had ordered for my 10 year old daughter arrived on time but I was very impressed to see these shoes were as described and nice quality. These shoes were priced affordabley too which made these shoes even more attractive. I would recommend in a heartbeat!
Both of my daughters play volleyball and have flat feet. One of the girls starting having knee problems as a result of her feet. A pediatric sports orthopedist suggested sneakers with a good arch and recommended Asics as one of a few brands that often have this feature. Sure enough, these volleyball sneaks have a good solid arch support. Both of my girls find them very comfortable and we have not had knee issues since wearing them.
Great shoes! Fit perfectly and worked well.
My daughter is 10 she wears a size 3 shoe I ordered the 3 1/2. I would recommend going a 1/2 size up not due to the fit (they are true to size) but because in volleyball that extra half inch will be a lot more comfortable since they play on their toes. These are the only volleyball shoes I’ve been able to find in kid sizes.
