Ive been tracking theee shoes, reading reviews, and wanting but holding off on these shoes for a number of reason's, but I found them essentially at half price and snagged them. Reasons I was wanting and/or holding off and how I feel about them now:- I knew the buckle wasn’t functional and Velcro was underneath. Result: they can get plenty snug anyway! There’s lots of room to spare on my medium ankle to fasten it tighter. My very first pair of vionic sneakers had very loose elastic straps with Velcro and never got tight, and naturally I rolled my ankle in them. These won’t stretch out, so they’re good. If I they were too loose without significantly shifting the strap to a non-Velcro part, i could also add a strip of Velcro on the inside of the top strap to latch on to the inside, which would function the same. But it’s not an issue.Reason I was holding off: suede! Result: pretty sure these are faux suede. Anyway, I don’t often wear high heels, so they won’t get tons of use anyway. I just need them in a pinch.Reason I was holding off: heels! Gah! I am hypermobile and fall too often. Result: this is sort of cheating, but I have a different pair of vionic heels without the ankle strap and they are amazingly stable, supportive, and comfortable. I’ve never seen another company do this, but the heel of the shoe is slightly cupped, so your foot naturally falls into the center of the shoe. The block heel is my favorite kind of heel to wear as it is also extremely stable. Those two things make a HUGE difference. I knew that adding the top strap would only improve the comfort, and I was right.Reason I was holding off: price. I saw these for ~$70 after only seeing them at $130 for several years, so I jumped on it. Result: mostly great, except whatever company sold them sent them in a malformed box. However, the shoes are great so I’m not upset.
I have several pairs of Vionic shoes, but this is my first pair with heels. Normally, I just don't wear heels any more, because I don't care to walk on the balls of my feet. But Vionic claimed the heels on this style distributed weight for a better walking experience. I found the comfort level exceptional -- I wore this out of the box to a family get-together where I was on my feet most of the party and walking on steps outdoors. They were so comfortable, I actually forgot I was wearing them. Great features include the ankle straps that look like they buckle, but are adjustable velcro, making the shoes super easy to put on. And I received numerous complements, as well. Love the metallic platinum color and that I can wear them year round. If you like Vionic shoes, these won't disappoint.
True to size but found that the back of the shoe was too large. I don’t have a narrow foot so not sure why they didn’t fit. Beautiful quality and great color. Had to return.
Wore these to an outdoor wedding and got a lot of compliments. Have excellent support (which I need for plantar fasciitis) and were great on the uneven ground with the block heel. Look very up to date and love the color. Highly recommend!
The shoe is well made but the feel is not the same vionic insole. It was very painful and ill fit. Was very disappointed. Vionic is always my try and true. 😞
Great color and fit. Love how comfortable they are!
I don’t wear heels much anymore as I’ve gotten older. I got these shoes to go with a dress I was wearing to a wedding. I had 3 requirements: good arch support, lower and more stable heels and not matronly looking! These fit the bill and exceeded my expectations. They are fashionable and looked great with my dress. I was able to wear them for over 9 hours with a good bit of walking outside and dancing inside. The only issue I had was normally I wear a 7.5 med and sometimes wider depending on the style. I ordered a 7.5 wide to make sure the strap across my toes would be wide enough but the shoe was too long in the front. I had to return them for a 7 wide. If you border on med or wide, definitely go with the wide and potentially a shorter length.
I LOVE Vionics, they are so comfortable, cute, and worth the money. I get married in a few weeks and I wanted blue shoes but something I could wear all night. Vionics have NEVER let me down! I have about 6 pairs of Vionics and let me tell you, once you get them, you'll never not want a pair! These shoes are so pretty and comfy, take my advice, get the shoes!
