The Teva Women’s Omnium Sandal is a standout choice for outdoor enthusiasts seeking versatility in their footwear. Its design marries the benefits of a sandal with those of a shoe, making it suitable for a variety of activities. One of its most impressive features is the exceptional traction provided by the rugged Spider Rubber outsole; this allows for confidence-inspiring grip on slick surfaces, such as wet rocks or sandy beaches.
Comfort is paramount with this model. The EVA foam midsole cushions your foot, while the ShocPad technology absorbs shock effectively, making every step feel gentle, even on uneven terrain. The inclusion of multiple drainage ports ensures that when you get them wet, they dry quickly – a feature appreciated by anyone who has ever been caught in a sudden downpour while out exploring.
Additionally, the adjustable bungee lacing and hook-and-loop backstrap mean you can tailor the fit to your liking, enhancing stability and comfort. This is particularly beneficial during long hikes or adventures where foot swelling might occur. On the downside, those venturing into colder climates may find that the sandal’s open design doesn’t provide sufficient warmth.
In conclusion, the Teva Women's Omnium Sandal is an exceptional choice if you're in the market for a reliable, adventure-ready footwear option. With its combination of comfort, durability, and performance, these sandals are well worth considering for your next outdoor excursion.

After receiving the shoes, I read other comments indicating these shoes were difficult to get on. Yes, they are however never one to give up, I figured out a way to get them on. Once on, they are very comfortable, the foot bed is very comfortable, and they are very light on the foot. The toe is quite roomy. Can only wear with thin socks not my wool socks. I debated whether to return them but have decided to keep them and continue with the exercise of putting them on.
I love these sandals. They are great for walking and hiking in the summer. There is no need for socks! No friction with the heel. It is very comfortable.
In an effort to replace my worn out, beloved pair of Ahnu sports sandals, which are no longer manufactured, I recently purchased the following shoes, all in size 9M:Teva Omnium SlateMerrell Women's J034170 Choprock Shandal Hiking ShoeMerrell Women's All Out Blaze Sieve Water ShoeMerrell womens Water Shoe HYDROTREKKER LTR SHANDALBrown Oak Women's Closed Toe Outdoor Hiking Water Shoes Sport SandalsNorthside Santa Rosa Sport SandalTeva Terra Float Active Lace Wild Dove Womens Sporty SandalNote that I have a 2” arch to support in this review. Yes, it really measures 2”. Even the podiatrist was surprised. Okay, here’s the rundown:The most rugged, most sportlike, and least sandal-like were the Merrells. If you’re looking for stability, support, and good traction, look at Merrell. All of them ran longer and more narrow, particularly in the heel. The Choprock felt lighter and more open than the All Out Blaze or the Hydrotrekker. The Brown Oak pair felt far larger in general and wider, specifically. My feet flopped around in them. Little molding or cushioning in the footbed; but then, that’s relative to the Merrells. The Northside Santa Rosa was the most open and least sporty of them all. No molding or cushioning in the footbed. No real support. Scratchy interior. Better protection than open sandals, though. If you need to seriously lockdown your ankles, look to the Teva Omnium Slate. I liked the security, but it didn’t allow enough space in the instep for me. These took slightly more work to put on with the additional buckle. So, weigh whether you need stability or convenience more. Finally, and my favorite, the Teva Terra Float Active Lace felt immediately comfortable: soft interior; snug, but not tight; ample support; sufficient space in the instep to allow for an additional ¾ orthotic for arch support; supportive, but not clunky; plenty of breathability; more coverage (in mesh) for the forefoot than my Ahnu pair, which should help keep out debris; sufficient traction for my everyday activities.Ahnu had been an offshoot of Teva, and is now manufactured by Teva. So, it makes sense that the Tevas were a good replacement for my old Ahnus. I’m grateful I found a pair that would keep my feet comfortable.
My favorite shoe. It is well built and durable. My first pair eventually met with an early demise. My puppy got ahold of them. Plenty of toe room and very comfortable. Stylish too.
Just too large. I purchased the size suggested for me but they did not fit
Love them! Super comfortable. Bought thinking I would probably return but kept them and no regrets!
These shoes were so comfortable right out of the box.I love the wide toe box and the arch support
I like walking in the woods in the summer -- this is a great shoe for that purpose. Also, they're great for shopping and bopping around the neighborhood. I love the cutouts -- keeps airflow on my feet, so they stay nice and cool.I usually wear a size 10, but those are too small. I order a 10.5 -- perfect! Also, because I have high arches, I need support. I put inserts in these, because otherwise -- these shoes don't offer much arch support. They look like they're arched on the outside, but when you look inside, it's pretty flat. Some people can handle that -- but I can't. I need the support. No worries, though: an arch support insert slips in easily. And because the shoes have a heel, the inserts stay inside, no slipping.I'll even wear them when I'm just hanging around the house -- because they're as comfortable as slippers, I can forget to take them off when I get home. They're great shoes, and I'll probably buy them again when they wear out. This is my second pair -- each pair usually lasts 2-3 years. I walk around 3-5 miles a day in the summer. Excellent value, and well made.
