These are by far the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. Also, since they are leather, they look better than sandals with cloth straps. there is great arch support and just enough cushioning to be comfortable without being too soft. I'll be buying another pair whenever these wear out.
Needs more arch support and the straps could be a little wider for a more secure fit.
When I recently found out my favorite walking sandals were discontinued (Gentle Souls’ Lily Moon), I sought out to find a suitable replacement. While the Tevas are not quite as stylish as my favorites, they are nice looking, and were ready for massive walks without being broken in. Plus the price was about 1/3 of what I’d pay for the Gentle Souls. The Tevas were trail and beach durable and I do not have a single blister after multiple 5-7 mile walks this weekend. Awesome sandals!Update 9/3 - during a hike, one of the straps snapped. Luckily there still was some structural integrity so I was able to continue along. It was passed the return window, so I sent them to Teva and they awarded me nearly twice the amount I paid in credits! What an awesome company. I am a customer for life and have two new pairs on the way.
I like the look of my Tevas. They are comfortable and well made. Points off for how short the Velcro ankle strap is made. When I pull on the strap, to fasten, it ends mid way across the top of my foot. Worse is when I take the sandals off, even after 10 or more wearings, the black dye of the shoe leaves a dark imprint of the straps and sole on my foot. Embarrassing if someone asks you to remove your shoes for whatever reason.
These sandals are supper comfortable and do not require and wearing in. I love my Birkenstock’s and decided to try Tevas as my next comfy sandal. I’m usually a size 8.5 but I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfect. The leather straps are very smooth and both straps are adjustable. These are great sandals if you walk around a lot and personally I think they are stylish!Only downside is that there is lose thread on the side of the sandals.
I wore these black leather Tevas for only a couple of months periodically. It didn't rake long before the straps threads starting unraveling. I paid the regular price because they were leather. The next summer continued to ravel. Poor quality and I wasted my money for a sandal I only wore a few times for 2 summers.
People have written that these are cute, comfortable, fits as expected, but that they will stain your socks and fee a black that won't come out of clothes or off skin (although the skin does fade over several days with scrubbing). They seem reasonably sturdy, but unless I can find a way to stop them staining, I'll never wear them and can't say. I didn't read that bad news until after I experienced it, so be glad you're reading this beforehand, if you are. I can only ask "WHY in he11 would you sell something like that?" They must be hoping that most people will be like me and be furious but too busy to send them back, since we have to package, etc. That's okay; let's be sure to note the company name carefully. No more ANYTHING they sell for me!
