These sandals are really cute and comfortable. They do seem to run about 1/2 size too long, but the width feels as expected. Overall, a really nice sandal. Just order down 1/2 a size.
I read a lot of reviews saying the straps were too short. I have wide feet and did not find this to be the case. I just had to wiggle the straps on top of my foot until they were in a comfortable position. The shoes are very cute, and relatively comfy for how cute they were. I walked around 6 miles all over the city of Chicago in them and had no blisters. However, I expected better quality from Teva. The straps are already fraying and I've only had them for two months. Glue on the soles seems to be coming unstuck. If I wanted cheap sandals that would fall apart after one season I would have gone to Forever 21.
I really do like these sandals. I wear Ecco's a lot because I'm on my feet all day, but I thought these were super cute and decided to give Teva a try. The positives include, according to my sister, "They're not as ugly as I expected they would be" and they do not put blisters anywhere on my feet. I wish the straps were a little longer. I have them on the last link and I still feel like the straps aren't made quite long enough. These are not as comfortable as Ecco shoes, but they do offer support and I don't feel awful after being on my feet all day. I bought the tan pair for $40 and would not spend more than that on these shoes. I would give them a try!
They are super comfy. I’m between a 5-5.5. I ordered both sizes and the 5.5 fit, but it is a little snug. I’m not worried about that because leather stretches and it’s not uncomfortable. I should note that I have really narrow feet. If you have wide feet, these may take a little longer to get used to.
Nice Summery, Cute Style. Unfortunately for me have to return. The Ankle Straps were too short, biggest problem for me was it was too difficult to fasten them at the back of shoe. Someone more limber may not have such an issue. :-)Felt bad they didn't work out, really loved the style and nice leather.UPDATE: Had to return Since foot bed size was fine, did not exchange for different size, Short Ankle Straps were the issue.Returned promptly in original box and in outer carton. Was shocked and disappointed to see was charged a re-stocking fee(sometimes charged for opened electronics, not shoes!) AND fee for what was originally free shipping. My return was $11.69 less than what I paid for sandals.
I was so disappointed in these shoes. I love, love, love every pair of Tevas I have ever owned because they are so incredibly comfortable and require no breaking in. First of all, these shoes don't really fit true to size. They are somewhat small and fit rather tightly. I always wear an 8 in sandals, sometimes even a 7.5, and my heel was hanging off the back of these (I ordered an 8). It is nice that they are leather, but the insole is not soft AT ALL. I imagined since there was an entire inch of it that it'd be squishy and at least form to the shape of my foot. Nope! It's hard a rock and offers no support at all! I wore them for about an hour around my apartment and my feet, heels and knees were already hurting and the "cushioning" showed no sign of softening up. Why can't Teva just make cute sandals that aren't sport sandals with the same kind of footbed as their sport sandals?!? :(
Love them! They are really comfortable! My only complaint is the location of the buckles. They are at the back of the ankle and are hard to buckle as a result. I've seen lots other reviews with the same comment.
I bought them in 2018, and I just pulled them out of my closet, as I have not worn them for a long time. Almost immediately, the one strap (left foot) began to fray at the end, making these even more difficult to put on. Also, at the top of the right sandal, the leather is peeling back. They are next to impossible to latch for me on the back of the ankle, just because of the way the sandal is made. (Add in arthritis in my hands, and it literally takes at least 5 minutes; hence, reason why they are almost never worn.)Normally, I am a fan of the Teva shoes I get (although lately, they have been more narrow), and these are comfortable once they are on. The color is nice and neutral.
