The Teva Men's Winsted Sandal stands out in terms of comfort on various terrains thanks to its contoured EVA midsole. Unlike many alternatives that lack adequate arch support, this sandal accommodates your foot's natural shape, making it suitable for prolonged wear. The quick-dry webbing not only enhances comfort but also ensures that moisture doesn’t become a nuisance during outdoor activities.
In terms of durability, the rugged Durabrasion Rubber outsole proves to be a strong ally against rocky trails and slippery surfaces. You can tread confidently, knowing that you have solid traction beneath you. Additionally, the standout cushioning allows for ease of movement, making it an ideal option for adventurers looking to conquer the outdoors without sacrificing comfort.
On the styling front, the classic design makes these sandals versatile enough for casual outings, allowing you to transition easily from nature trails to dining out. However, potential buyers should note that while the adjustable straps provide a snug fit, some users may experience a brief break-in period before achieving optimal comfort.

These are my 3rd pair of Tevas. The 2 previous ones lasted for 10+ years. I wonder how long these ones will go. I heard about them from my friend who had won Marlboro Adventure Team competition and went to Arizona for the camp in 2019 and they were provided a pair of Tevas each and enjoyed doing all the crazy activities (canoeing, climbing, mororcycling and jeeping) with their Tevas on.Why I love the sandals - the legendary 2-strap-look, authentic ornamental design, comfort, utility and the brand
I had actually purchased a different pair of Teva from Campmor that were my size 9. This is the size of Teva I had been wearing which were a little large. However, the size 9 Teva from Campmor were huge, way to big for me to consider keeping so I returned them. Campmor didn't have any size 8 Teva that I liked so I purchased this pair of Teva size 8 on Amazon. These size 8 Teva fit great on my size 9 feet!
Bought these for my son for our Costa Rica vacation and once he put them on he never wore anything else. We did a 5 mile hike to and from a waterfall and they never rubbed his feet raw at all.
These are way more comfortable than my chacos. Would order again for sure!
Unfortunately they run large and weren't available in a smaller size. Bummed because I know they're rugged and comfortable. Had to return.
Teva sandals fit well and very durable. Shipping was fast.
Teva - this is much more reminiscent of your original sandal from the 80’s … as opposed to what you’re calling the new “universal basic”.And ironically - as near as I can tell. I just bought the last pair of a discontinued style.Shame … these are awesome. To any potential buyers … these aren’t plush comfy things - they are super trail / river handy though. And will stand up to a beating. Whereas the new universal basic Teva’s will not (take that same abuse that these will). If you can get your hands on a pair that fit (true to size) then you’ll be pleased if you’re wanting a trail sandal.
After about 1 year of regular use the sole is starting to separate but this is very good for a sandal. Take on light hikes and into the office. Lovely
