The Teva Canyonview RP Hiking Shoe stands out in the crowded market of kids' hiking footwear due to its combination of innovative materials and practical design. The textile and synthetic upper not only provides durability but also enhances breathability, ensuring your child's feet stay cool during those long summer days.
The addition of the rich suede provides a touch of luxury while maintaining ruggedness, perfect for outdoor adventures. The lightweight construction means that your child can run, jump, and explore without feeling weighed down. Plus, the molded EVA midsole offers the kind of comfort we all desire, making these shoes suitable for all-day wear.
When it comes to traction, the rubber outsole pods are a game changer, providing the grip required on different surfaces, whether they are on a trail or just running around the playground. However, while the Canyonview does offer great features, it’s essential to note that it isn’t specifically waterproof, so consider your local climate when choosing this shoe. Additionally, sizes may vary, which could be a limitation for rapidly growing kids.
In summary, if you're in the market for a reliable, stylish, and comfortable hiking shoe for your child, the Teva Canyonview RP should definitely be on your list. It excels in breathability and support, catering to active lifestyles both in nature and urban environments.

Keens have been the go to for my very active daughter who has a collection of walking boots from her ortho while running barefoot. The keens have solved this issue with their well built show and toe box without being overt heavy or hot. Great 3 season shoe north of Nashville, 4 seasons to the south.
Beware of buying these. The laces and and plastic mechanism which holds the laces in place are made of very materials and are poor quality. I bought one pair and they broke in a week with regular wear. I then returned that pair thinking it was just those, but the new pair is the same. The new pair also broke after a week. Hopefully Teva can fix this in the meantime as the shoe is of good quality. Kinda useless though if you can't tie them
I really liked the look of these shoes and my 5-yr old liked the feel. He says they were comfy and made him run fast. Sadly, by week 2, the stitching around the toes starting coming loose. By week three the stitching on the toe was gone. And now, week 4, everything around the toes have come apart and Tony son can’t wear them anymore. I had thought about visiting a cobbler to have them repaired but it’s cheaper just to buy a new pair. But seriously…only 1 month? Really bummed these have to go to the trash. Teva - do you offer any sort of 1-mo lnth of use guarantee on your product?? Seems like the least you could do.
