Item arrived in new condition and it fit perfectly (normal width foot). My toes fit fine. The buckle functions so you can adjust how tightly it holds the top of your foot in. They look fantastic on and lengthen the appearance of your foot.Unfortunately I had to return because I could tell the buckle would rub the top of my foot wrong. It pressed up against my foot bones and if I loosened the strap, it would be too loose. The leather might be patent leather. That seems to be normal for most "leather" shoes these days and shouldn't be an issue for anyone who wears the shoes regularly. I don't wear heels often so I don't want the material disintegrate when I wear them a few years later.
