The sizes are for baby/toddler. I ordered a big kid size 4W for my 1 year old, who has super fat feet (most shoes don’t fit him) and they fit great! According to the size chart in the pictures he measured perfectly for a little kids 4XW. It was half the price for 4W so I decided to take my chances and they fit perfect. They are also light weight and flexible so perfect for new walkers. Only complaint is the price, I have a hard time paying this much for baby shoes but what can you do when nothing else fits his fat feet!
Love these. I bought the 4.5W for my 1 year old son and they fit perfect. Super easy to get into his chubby feet. I will say though within a couple days of wearing them his feet started to smell. Otherwise, highly recommend!

These are the best first baby walking shoes. Great summer shoes, go with all his outfits and most importantly My 1yr old loves them (5W) He gets so happy when i put them on him!

My son had a really hard time walking in the shoes we have gotten him before but these have been great! He started walking at 11 months and when we got these shoes around 13 months old he took to them right away and has been walking in them ever since!
Good quality sandal. Though I bought a wide version they still a tad tight so the velkro barely overlaps to tie them. He has another stride rites in wide size and they're ok.
