The sandals were very conforming and stable
Very comfortable and durable
Not only is the sandal comfortable, it is sturdy enough to climb in, and it is flexible enough to put a 3/8" lift inside the foot-pan of the right sandal, after adding a little velcro to the top under-strap, to account for my shorter right leg. A real advantage, since adding a 3/8" lift to the bottom of a sandal, as I've done for years to my other sandals/shoes, is a much more expensive solution!
BEST FITTING MOST COMFORTABLE SANDAL EVER! E-WORD!!!So, why only 3 stars? ( On 12/11/2021 I reduced it to 1 star. Zero stars was unavailable)I purchased the forerunner to these many years ago… can’t remember what exactly Sketchers called them… but they were the forerunner to these. Excellent sandals. I wore them day in and day out for years. At the same time I had a much more expensive pair of ROCKPORTS; I could not tell you the difference between the two. I loved them both. These SKETCHERS are ½ the price -And, ROCKPORT just went to a stooopid (yes: STOOOPID) double Velcro strap across the heal, with many of the same issues I have with these. -But the quality in my initial pair of SKETCHERS was the reason I considered these.I initially passed on buying these. The rubber like synthetic insole was quite different from what was on my original sandal (which was leather) and I was concerned about moisture. This is not a problem with these Sandals. And I really like the new style insole.These indeed are AMAZING sandals. Very comfortable and supportive. I wore them all day on the first day. I wear them daily and it is like walking on sunshine!My BIG complaint: The Velcro on the straps. Unlike in the original (and in every pair of quality sandals I have ever owned) is insufficient. The Velcro portion on the sandal itself, and not on the strap itself, is not long enough. There is not enough coverage, on any of the straps (and there are three on these sandals) to hold the strap in fully affixed and flush to the sandal itself. So it sticks out. LIKE ½ an inch!! Come on!Not only does this look Stupid (STOOPID) sticking out like it does. It catches on everything. A LOT! Quite the pain in the butt! And, each and every time, it continually pulls at the Velcro. Velcro is short lived enough, let’s not shorten it’s shelf life.***UPDATE***Solid 3 stars here.Sorry Guys. I am ten days in on these. Yes, they are extremely comfortable. BUT: The heal strap does not come up high enough (like close to the Achilles) and so it keeps slipping down towards the heal. It is a real pain in the butt to pull it back up throughout the day. I have experienced this with NO other sandals that I have ever owned. Still really comfortable. But when these go the way of the Wooly Mammoth… I’m buying elsewhere.UPDATE 12/10/2021!!!!!!!!!!!!Crap! Crap!!! absolutely crap!!!!!! (See second photo)Come on ! Two Monthos of wear and the buckle on the side broke?!! These Sandals could not SUCK any more than they do!
Good purchase
The key to this item is the quality of the construction. These are well made,the materials are high quality. Fit is as expected. Straps are adjustable. Made in Vietnam. Should last about 50 X longer than the cheap knock offs made you know where!
Very comfortable!
I went to my local Skechers store to try on a similar pair of sandals, thinking that when I placed this order, I'd get the right fit. Unfortunately, that turned out not to work as the ordered pair was far too big and had to be returned. I cannot comment on quality. And, I had to pay for the return as the order was not directly from Amazon.
