They are cute for every day but also work well for dressier occasions. I especially like that she can run and jump and climb in these.
We had these precious sandals last year but my granddaughter’s feet have grown so she needs a bigger size. We knew how cute, durable, and comfortable they are, so getting a second pair was a “no brainer!”
This is our go-to sandal for my daughter, now age 5. We've bought these for the last three years, and I will keep buying them as long as we can find her size! They are cute and perfect for the summertime, whether with a sundress, party-style dress, or even shorts and a t-shirt. She loves the hearts and the variety of colors. I love that they are so durable and washable, and can even be worn on the beach or poolside without concern about the sand and water. They also seem very comfortable, as my daughter has worn them for days at Disney world without any complaints or redness or blistering. She has a narrow foot and since both straps are adjustable, we are able to get a perfect fit. These are a summertime staple in our house!
This is our second year with these sandals. We loved them so much last year we got them again this year but with the cutout heart design this time which is adorable! I thought they ran a tiny bit small last year so we sized up this year to get her through the summer. She is 3 and we did size 9. They are easy to adjust to fit smaller so if you are on the fence I would size up. These are durable and can be worn outside and inside. They are easy to dress up but my daughter also says they are comfy. She can run in them easily. The only thing I don't like is I wish the clasp was easier to adjust length of straps.
So they already run 1/2-1 size bigger. If your child's foot is a 6 and you want to buy a 7 to grow into, then order a 6 because it fits like a 7. Just enough room to grow into and still very comfortable. In my case, I like to get my money's worth so here is is what I did.... My daughter was a 5 size foot and I ordered a size 7 and it fit her pretty big BUT the cool thing about these sandals is that, although way too big, she still wore them! they fit so snug that it did not matter. I did notice that she tripped a few times because they were big (my fault since a 6 is ideal) but in about a month she got used to them and was totally fine. Over all, she has been wearing them for 5 months now AND still has room for 1 more size!!! I expect an additional 2-3 more months before she officially grows out of them. Great value and super great quality!!!
These sandals are so cute, they are great quality, and they go with everything! We love them so much! We have had multiple pair and wear them all the time! They last so you def get your moneys worth!
I purchased these sandals as well as the original Salt Water Sandal (in red) for my daughter who turned two this summer. She had another pair of white sandals from a chain retail superstore that she wore this summer as well. Now, at the end of the summer, her white sandals are starting to frey and look terrible. Her Salt Water Sandals can just be wiped down and look practically new. The construction and materials on this sandal are far superior to other shoes we have tried. We have baby #2 coming in December and I am sure that he will wear the red ones on a couple of years as well. Definitely a great investment! They do run a little on the big side (since they don't have half sizes I had to go up a size), but my kid grew into them as the summer progressed. You can dress them up or down. They are waterproof. The buckles are impossible for little ones to take off their own feet (big plus for me since our daughter tries to take off her shoes every time she is in her car seat). I recommend these 100%
I bought these sandals in size 6, sweetheart pink. I did not expect them to be shiny rather than matte. At first I wasn't thrilled about it but then I realized it actually makes it easier to keep them clean. They wipe right down. My daughter normally wears size 5 but I was worried these would be too tight for her chubby feet. These sandals are too long for her but the straps are adjustable so it's not an issue. They're not terribly long. They're precious and go with pretty much everything. I don't think she finds them 100% comfortable though so we only pull them out for dresses on special occasions. I sent her to daycare in them one day and they have a black rubber type material on the floor of their playground and the soles of the shoe as well as the joining of the leather foot bed and the sole got really beat up. The leather foot bed edges frayed after one day of wear. Not a huge deal but they don't look nice for long, which is to be expected of pretty much any toddler-worn shoe. All in all, I am happy with these cute shoes and hope they fit my daughter next spring/summer.
