I was absolutely surprised by the comfort of this sandal. I can’t remember the last time I put my foot in a shoe and could wear it all day. Great arch support. Love them!
I have five pairs of Ryka sneakers so I was prepared to love these. No.. they are not comfortable and they won't stay on your feet.. sadly.
I use these sandals mostly as bed room slippers in the summer. Of course I could wear them out and about, but I just keep them by the bed, slip them on when I slide out of my bed, they have arch support and I have some pain in my feet, so they work well for me.
Love all my many Ryka shoes over the years, but THIS upper shoe material is horribly stiff, rough, brittle and painful on the skin and feet. That's the upper fabric parts and Velcro parts. Likewise, the foam footbeds are miserable as well: hot, sticky, sweaty and uncomfortable. Because of those issues, advertising them as "Recovery" shoe seems laughable. Because I've bought so many Ryka shoes over the years, I've noticed recently the quality and product uniformity is no longer predictable For example, the length of the adjustable ankle and/or toe straps can vary considerably even within the same size, style and color--like no one is caring about quality control during manufacturing. I'm not the only one noticing such disparities--other reviewers say the same about other Ryka styles as well. This pair is being immediately returned, sad to say. In my opinion, they're not even worth $15 shower shoes, much less nearly $90.
