I suffer from plantar fasciitis. I ordered several sandals and this is the one that fit me and felt the best on my feet. It had the perfect amount of support and all the straps were customizable. They aren't really meant for rough surfaces as the sole is not rigid and tough, but I wore them walking on volcanic hard, sharp ground and they did fine...maybe a little beat up upon close inspection. Nothing about this rubbed my feet the wrong way even on a hot and humid day. My firend's mom, who has wide feet, tried them on and said it was hard for her to find a sandal that fit her....and she ordered herself a pair.
This is my third pair of Ryka Savahna sandals since they first came out. I have arthritis in my right foot that makes it difficult to wear a shoe with straps. I have found this style to fit snug without rubbing and causing blisters. The have a nice arch and feel secure on my feet with no flopping when I walk.
Love the look and comfort of these sandals. Wear them on my walks which are usually 2-4 miles at a time. Stay comfortable the entire time. My only complaint is that the ankle strap on the right shoe is 3/4 inch shorter than the one on the left shoe. It really doesn’t affect wearability, it’s just visually annoying to me. I’m guessing someone goofed up at the factory. Other than that these are great sandals.
Just what I needed. I have wide feet and have a hard time finding shoes to fit and these sandals are perfect. I just had to go come back and get another pair in my size, thank you.
Looking for good walking sandals, tried multiple pairs and all of them had to go back, including these. They fit the length and width of my foot nicely, and seemed to be good quality, comfortable. However, the ankle strap wouldn't fit around my ankle. I would think that a shoe intended for wide feet would have a larger ankle strap, and with the velcro I was expecting it be adjustable, but there was no way these would work. My feet swell throughout the day, so I intentionally looked for adjustable straps that could be expanded as the day progressed. These barely fit when I put them on first thing in the morning, not enough velcro connecting to even be sure that they would stay on even before the swelling begins. At least it was an easy decision to send them back. Lesson learned: buying shoes online is not a good idea for those of us with swelling concerns. The only way I was finally able to find sandals that fit was by making time to go to an actual brick-and-mortar store with huge selection, and even then I had to try on 10-12 pair before I finally found some that would work.

Arch support is very raised and uncomfortably hard. Never had a shoe or sandal like this.
I have wide feet in the and it’s been difficult to find some outdoor style sandals that can get wet. I do not want my feet hanging over the side of a foot bed because that’s just not cute. These sandals are a perfect fit and so comfortable. The foot beds are a perfect size for my wider feet and they just cradle my foot. They have great arch support And I can wear them for hours in comfort. I was also afraid they were not going to be very stylish but they look really cute on. Very pleased.
