I could not just slip into them.Much as I loved them I sent them back.
All good
These flip flops are awesome! Wide platform and extra squishy, almost too squishy. I want to love them but I can’t. Where the straps go into the sandal body, there’s a little crease and when 210 lbs presses down, the outside of my foot along that edge gets sucked into the crease and pinches the skin pretty good on the upstep. Not sometimes, but every time. Sadly I’ll be returning them. Maybe I’ll try the Ookos or whatever with one piece construction.
So far I love these flip flops! They are super comfortable. I would just suggest sizing down. I normally wear a nine in reef flip-flops but in these an 8 is perfect. And I agree, they are noisy. Maybe don't wear them to the library or in the morning when kids are sleeping on the couch!
If you like sandals and you're tired of buying new ones every year, pick these up in a size bigger than your foot size and thank me later. Expensive but darn comfy.
I really wanted to like these flip flops. I have a pair of Reefs that are my favorite because they have a thicker than normal sole on them. I thought for sure that having an extra thick sole would be even better, I was wrong. It felt like they could give at any moment and I might twist an ankle. (I’m not overweight and I’m very athletic.) I would have kept them in the hopes I’d gro used to the thicker sole. It didn’t matter though because these flips SQUEAK! My wife asked me what that noise was and she was in another room. I thought perhaps it would go away and wore them around our house for just a little while. The squeak remained constant. Not that I’m going to try and sneak up on anyone or anything like that but my goodness! The squeak was already driving me crazy and there was no way I could wear them very long without losing my mind so I had to send them back for a refund.
So I never has a pair before. I tried a pair on in a store and fell in love. They didn’t have my size in stock so ordered them off Amazon. They are pricey…but OMG they are like walking on foam or air. You cannot understand how comfortable until you put them on. Worth the $$!!!
