I wear a size 13 and am happy to report that the size 14 fit me perfectly, so they do come in smaller than noted. I bought these Reefs because they're all leather and I had to trash a relatively new brand of Teva flip flops due to the synthetic materials burning the top of my feet and causing a bit of a rash. No such problem with the Reefs. The leather takes some time to break in, but it's worth it due to my sensitivity to synthetic flip flop materials. The sole on these Reefs is cushioned for support, which I like. All in all, these are good quality flip flops though a bit pricey. Recommended.
I bought these sandals to replace my OLUKAI Men's Hiapo sandals which I wore for 5 years. the reason I was looking for a replacement was because of the price, Reef shoes are about $50 cheaper and feel just as good. one other advantage this has over the Olukai shoes is that the strap that goes between the toes is made of two strong leather pieces and not a skinny leather with string ties, that is the part where my Olukai sandals failed. I am hoping this pair, last me longer. so far they are very comfortable and I can wear them all they without any discomfort.
This pair replaces a 4+ year pair of the same sandal. These are a bargain compared to other highly rated leather thong sandal brands. The leather quality is top grade and they have the double leather thong between the toes versus nylon in many other leather sandals, including Reef. That is what broke at the bottom of my old pair, but they got heavy use and lasted as long as expected. They also have a stitched edge around the top of the sandal and nice arch support which is great. They were easy to break in as they fit my feet well. If you can find them, don't hesitate.
Flip, flip, flip. You will be announced well before you enter into any room. The nice leather makes these rigid so they really slap your foot on the return. My husband stopped wearing them because they were so loud, even though he liked how they looked and felt.
Reef's Jay Bay III are in my opinion the best flip flops you can buy on the market. I retired 6 yrs ago and all I wear are my flip flops. I'm pretty rough on them and usually I get 6-9 months use before they break and I move on to my next pair. They are comfortable from day 1 and get more comfortable throughout their lifetime. I wouldn't know what to do if they quit making the Jay Bay III's as I depend on them daily like most people do a pair of their favorite sneakers. Thank you Reefs for making the best flip flop on the market.
Fast shipping, good quality
These were a little tight when I got them, but stretched to fit perfectly after wearing them around the house for a few days. Very comfortable and lightTypically wear 8.5 wide. Bought size 9.
They are comfortable, decent support! I wear mine everywhere, work, lake etc! I don’t recommend getting them wet a lot. That way they last longer!
