Socal Resident 41 years. I practically live in flip flops and I've been through many. For the last 7 years, I have only bought Quiksilver. Not only do they have the best fit, but they also don't stretch out as much over time. But the absolute best thing about Quiksilver flip flops is the way they are engineered. I am lucky enough to wear my flip flops all the way down pretty much to my skin - I'm talking millimeters of material left, and at the toe, I wear them down to nothing under my toe. I have never once had the strap separate from the base - ever. These flip flops last until the bitter end. Very nice sandals. I love the look and they are pretty comfortable. The do run a bit small though. I usually wear a 7.5 – 8 shoe, but the size 8 sandals were much too small. The company makes returns super easy though, and I was able to exchange them for a size nine which fit much better (but are still on the snug side). I would recommend ordering 1 – 2 sizes larger than your normal shoe size.
After a year and a half of use (wearing them a few times a week, for a couple of hours each day), they're showing signs of wear. See photos.
I purchased same flip flops about once a year, and it is very comfortable and the price is reasonable.
For Father's Day, we replaced an old thread bare pair of leather flip flops, probably 10 years old. These are beautiful, great fit, and he LOVES them.
