These are amazing! They’re the first pair of pediped I’ve purchased for my 9 mo old, and they fit the bill. They are a little big - I ordered size 12-18 mo, but she’s still able to walk in them. I will be purchasing a smaller size but will keep these to grow into. I prefer these to the Robeez as the leather sole is much thicker and the Mary Jane style seems to stay on the foot much better. (This is baby #6, and I’ve never been into the Robeez style shoes. I had a lot of See Kai Runs with the other kids). My baby hates shoes (I’ve tried Ugg’s, Sperrys, Toms and Old Navy Mary Janes) and she would kick and rip them off. Not these. Plus, they’re so light and pliable compared to the others - so I think the lack of bulk also makes them more comfortable for her. And her wide, chubby foot fits perfect - all of the other shoes looked over stuffed on the areas around the top of the foot. Also, these can be worn with thick socks without compromising fit. I’m a fan! Will definitely be ordering more, since they are even more adorable than they are functional!
This is my third pair of Pediped shoes, and most definitely not my last. I found this Pediped brand when searching shoes for my 10 month old baby girl. I filtered my search by average customer reviews. These seemed to come highly recommended so I gave them a try. Wow, I'm so glad I did! First of all - they are adorable... I get at least one compliment a day. Second - they are soft and comfortable... she has never tried to take them off. Third - they have NEVER fallen off like every other baby shoe that exists. Last - they have a rubber sole so she doesn't slip when she's trying to pull herself up and take steps. They are perfect in every way. I wish I had found this brand for my older kids when they were pre-walkers and beginning walkers. They fit true to size, and I will absolutely be buying more!
Loved these shoes. They are easy on/off and my 10 mo. old daughter began to understand quickly how to use the Velcro strap by watching me do it a few times. Her feet are very small, so even at 10 mo. - 1 year she is wearing the smallest size. They fit well and the design is perfect while she is learning to walk. Nice structure, but soft enough that she can still get her bearings on the ground as if barefoot. We receive compliments on what cute sandals they are as well.
We purchased these for my 18 month old daughter. My daughter started walking at 9 months and I found pediped's work well for her with the soft soled bottoms and flexibility. She loves these shoes. She asks to put them on and walks around in them even though they are just a bit big right now, I'm sure she'll start wearing them daily in another month or two. The shoes are exactly what I would expect pediped's to look like and feel like. They appear durable and comfortable. I will update my review after my daughter has worn the shoes daily for a few months. At this time she tends to grow in and out of shoes every 4-6 months.
My baby girl hadn't worn these shoes long when I noticed the paint chipping off a little in the back. Never had this happen before with this brand and love pediped shoes. Not sure if I just got a defect. They still work great and are my daughter's primary shoes.
These shoes run a bit large but are very well made and can last all day long. My daughter has been wearing these since she started walking and has never tried taking them off. They offer good support and are easy for her to walk/run in. Can be dressed up or down. I love, love, love these shoes.
This shoe is cute and has potential, but when I ran my finger along the interior of the shoe to check for sharp edges, I found several areas that would probably dig into my 12mo old's foot.Nevertheless, I had her try them on and walk around a bit... which did not last long; She sat and tugged at her shoes. Upon inspection, I found indentions and bright red areas where the stitching protrudes. The sides of the shoe were a bit too high and cut into the ankle, making it difficult to bend when walking.I also ordered a set of the grip-n-go sandals, and these were all around, softer and more comfortable. Since these are hand-made, I will exchange and give it a second chance.
I ordered these shoes for my 9 month old daughter who is learning to walk and so far they are wonderful. I used the size chart on Pediped's website and went with the 0-6 month size, which seemed risky (I thought she'd fit in the 6-12 month), but I'm glad I did. They have a little wiggle room, which is perfect because it's still a little chilly and she's wearing socks with them. They seem durable enough to last a few months as her main pair of shoes, before going up a size. I love the way they grip the floor- her mobility seems to have increased since we put her in them- no more slip sliding around in crib shoes. I will definitely be ordering Pediped again. The price is a little steep, but 100% worth it.
