When it comes to finding the right footwear, comfort and support should top your priority list. The Neat Feat Men's Zori Sport Sandals excel in providing exceptional orthotic support, which is essential whether you’re walking short distances or standing for extended periods. Their ergonomic design promotes proper walking posture, significantly reducing discomfort in the feet, legs, hips, and back.
The sandals feature a unique v-shaped thong that secures around the big toe, preventing slippage while ensuring a snug fit. This thoughtful design aspect offers stability, making them suitable even for active pursuits. Users have reported fewer instances of ankle sprains due to the sandals' supportive structure.
Moreover, the lightweight nature of the materials used means that you can wear them for hours without feeling weighed down. I use these mainly for in the house, I sometimes suffer with plantar fasciitis and wearing these help tremendously. They are very comfortable and durable. The rubber soles are very good quality and offers good grip. I take them in the shower and give the insoles a scrub with soap about once a week. My first pair lasted me about 2 years before the insoles started to separate. I reattached the insoles with shoe goo and now I have a backup pair.
Several years ago, I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. In addition to this, my arches are almost completely flat. Because of these two conditions, walking or standing for long periods of time can be very hard. Every morning, I wake up with pain in my heel because of the plantar fasciitis.Well, I did, anyway--then I bought a pair of these sandals. I've tried multiple orthotics and inserts, molds made especially for my heel, my arches, etc. I've spent hundreds of dollars on sneakers made for people with issues like mine. While they certainly help, nothing has been more transformative than these Zori sandals. I wear these every day; when I get up in the morning, I slip them on. I take them off to shower and when I'm leaving the house. During times I would normally be barefoot, I wear these. They train my arches and reduce pain: my heels no longer ache in the morning; I don't feel that familiar slow ache in my arches when I walk, and I'm completely pain-free.My first pair of Zori sandals wore out after 1.5 years of wear. Considering how inexpensive they were, this was a great deal. I waited a few weeks before ordering my second pair because I was wondering if my feet had improved because of the sandals, or on their own. The pain returned after about a week: it was the sandals that were keeping my feet in good shape. I went ahead and ordered a few more pairs, because I know that as long as I have these, I'll walk better, faster, and without pain.As for wearing them: they're cool to the touch; my feet don't sweat in them. They have a decent grip on the bottom. Obviously, you don't want to go running on ice in them, but they're not slippery at all. The thong part of them is a sturdy but lightweight cloth; it doesn't irritate the area between my big toe and second toe like other thong-style sandals. I can wear them all day without feeling uncomfortable. Unlike other orthotics that hurt while your feet get used to them, they worked pretty much right away, too, which is nice.I know that this sounds a little bit melodramatic, but these sandals have made such a big impact in my life that I really want to give them the credit they deserve. For the first time in years, I can take long walks in my neighborhood; I don't wake up in pain in the morning, I can exercise longer and more effectively than before. I no longer have to make up excuses not to walk across campus to get lunch with friends, and I don't take the bus or car short distances when I can walk instead. If you have plantar fasciitis or low arches, please try these out and see if they work for you.
I wear a size 11 so ordered 11 they were too small specifically the straps were tight over the feet. So ordered 12 (largest they have) and it's still tight. Hoping they stretch out a bit.
This is my second pair. They are extremely comfortable and give great arch support.
UPDATE: just ordered my second pair after 5 years and they've changed the fit a little and the materials are cheaper. They have caused blisters and chaffing so badly that these are unwearable. DO NOT BUY THESE! I am a hiker and trail runner with thousands of miles in good and bad shoes and boots. I know what works and I know what doesn't. These are the worst. I've never said this but if I could give these zero stars, I would.ORIGINAL REVIEW OF OLD STYLE : I love these sandals and use them almost every day. I do not have extremely bad pain from low arches, though I have extremely low arches. These do help out a great deal though and are extremely comfortable. They also don't look like some other "orthopedic" shoes out there. I've been wearing them for months and they show almost no signs of wear. I use them both indoors and outdoors during the summer and are pretty much my go to footwear (I really don't like wearing socks and shoes, have mostly worn sandals over the years). They are incredibly durable and comfortable. Next spring I plan to get another pair in a different color. I don't travel without these either. Would highly recommend them.
Comfortable with really impressive arch support for an inexpensive flip flop. However, you really do get what you pay for. My flip flops started coming apart after about 7-8 months. They do not hold up well.
At first try you might worry how stiff they feel, then 30 seconds in you will notice how great they feel and you will leave them on! They fit your feet so PERFECTLY that the stiffness is needed because how else to give your feet the support you never dreamed of in a sandal. If you ever walked all day and long distances in a sandal, you might say never again, but with the Zori Sport Orthotic Slip-On Sandals I can with no problems! You will also notice you smell like new tires, LOL! Don't worry, it goes away and your still in love.
These sandals are very tough, and I have planters fasciitis, and the arches are great for them. I really have enjoyed them. One drawback is I have toes that get numb very easily, and the hard surface of the sandals feels a little weird when my toes lose circulation. I would definitely buy them again though.
