I've been looking for the perfect casual shoe, comfortable but sturdy, and my wife told me about these sandals, which had been recommended for her father by his podiatrist. Her father and I wear the same shoe size, so she borrowed them for me to try on. I fell in love immediately and ordered my own pair. I'm in love with these shoes. One note: Some adjustments will have to be made here and there for new wearers as you figure out the overlap of the straps and just how tight to pull the Velcro, but once that's done you'll have the best, most comfortable footwear experience. Another note: I wear a wide shoe, but these, in a standard size 11 (44), were perfect for my feet.
Best sandals that I’ve found
Really sharp, super good fit, great comfort, best sandal ever purchased! ONE caveat: the insole COVER was not glued very well, and not trimmed well at all! For a $ 165 dollar sandal, somebody REALLY dropped the ball on quality control! Very, very cheap and shabby for an otherwise EXCELLENT piece of footwear! Wondering if I can get replacement footbeds? If not, will take to shoe repair store to have the covers reglued and trimmed properly!!! This should have NEVER happened with this fine company, which otherwise has always delivered the BEST shoes ever!!!
This is my second pair. The first pair lasted for 5+ years of constant wear 6+ months/year. The longer you wear them, the better they fit. If there's a better pair of sandals out there, I haven't seen, much less owned, them. They are expensive, and worth it.
I disliked the price. but have had this particular shoe before and they are very good
Expensive but worth it. Old pair lasted for years with no loss of comfort. Especially important to me was the removable footbed - it allows me to insert a small lift under one heel for my back and the lift stays in place. NO other sandals allow me to do that. Will continue to purchase these extremely comfortable, long- wearing sandals for as long as they make them.
I have a pair I bought about 12 years ago. The soles are thicker and have a roll off on the heel. Because of that the old pair are more comfortable. I'll keep them, my old pair are getting to the end. It tics me off that they would make a change to worst.
Fits great
