This is my third pair of Khombus over the last fifteen years. The first two purchased at Costco lasted for 4-5 years each and I wore them daily for most of the year, so I decided to purchase another and I am not disappointed. This sandal is for medium to narrow feet, although there are other sizes. I have neuropathy in my feet, and this is the most comfortable footwear I have found. And it's attractive, too, with a rugged and finished look.
As expectedSecond times bought and love them
These shoes (model called "Hal") appear to be a replacement for a model called "Travis". I wanted to replace a pair of the Travis shoe after wearing them for abtout two years. The new pair is breaking in nicely.The ability to adjust the heel more securely than most shoes is important for persons with narrow heels. This is a small incremental improvement over the Hal model but one that is appreciated.
I occasionally go to the beach to go looking for shells or fossils, which means I need to step into the water. Normal shoes would be great on the way to the beach, but on the way back it's unpleasant because you need to wait until your feet are dry before getting those shoes back on. With flip flops, you don't have to wait for your feet to dry, but they are not a good idea when you have to hike to get to said beach (speaking from experience.These sandals are the perfect middle ground--comfortable enough for the hikes to the beach, but open enough that you don't have to worry about whether your feet can dry quickly enough before putting them back on before the hike back.
This was a good comfortable sandal. It was soft and had a good feel to it. However after normal usage since spring summer months, the heel has ripped open. I would not recommend the product anymore!

We first bought a pair of these from a large box store but after years of wearing them the strap broke so we bought a second pair. My husband loves these sandals! They are comfortable and fits him perfect. He wears them all summer!
