The KEEN Men's Uneek II Slide Sandal excels in providing a balance of comfort and practicality, making it an ideal companion for casual outings, trips to the beach, or even just lounging around at home. The standout feature is the innovative free-moving nylon cord which allows the sandal to conform closely to the contours of your foot, resulting in a snug yet comfortable fit. Whether you're navigating rocky shorelines or simply walking down the street, the rubber outsole offers reliable traction, ensuring you can move with confidence.
In terms of comfort, the microfiber lining and footbed are exceptional. They provide softness against the skin and support in all the right places, reducing fatigue during longer wear. The lightweight PU midsole further enhances your experience by absorbing impact without adding unnecessary weight.
While the sandals shine in many areas, they may not be suitable for everyone. The unique design takes a bit of getting used to, especially if you're accustomed to traditional sandals. Additionally, although they are water-resistant, they're not intended for extreme hiking conditions or rugged terrains.

I've got a lot of cheap slides, but I wanted a good, quality pair with toe protection, so naturally I looked at what Keen had to offer. I ordered a Yogui, an Aruba II and an Uneek. The Yogui did not fit my foot at all (it will be returned immediately), the Aruba II was okay, but not all that comfortable and felt cheap (still debating on keeping it), but the Uneek was wonderfully comfortable right out of the box! I've read other reviews that said these run a 1/2 size small. That may be true of the models with a back on them, but the slides fit me perfectly and conform to my foot in my normal size.
Because so many reviews described these shoes as running small, I ordered a larger size than usual. I usually wear women's size 10.5, but this is a difficult size to find. So I ordered men's size 10.5, based on measurement chart and numerous reviews advising to order larger size than normal. The fit is extremely snug in terms of width, although this will likely improve as the cords stretch and relax over time, but not uncomfortable. I can see why men would find this shoe too snug since their feet are typically wider than women's. The 10.5 is slightly too long in length, but the snugness of the fit makes it feel like it fits well. The footbed has strong and comfortable arch support. I am keeping the shoes and hope that the fit does not become too loose over time.
The sandal has a nice look.It holds your foot in like a trap. The one problem currently is that the size seems small.I ordered a size 9 which is very common. The shoe that came says size 9.I’ve actually never had a shoe size problem ever with Keens and I have owned a lot of Keens. The shoe appears to be long enough but my foot does not want to make it to the end so my heel is very close to the rear end.Maybe it needs to stretch a little over time to allow my toes to get to the end.The arch support is good. The height for the top of my foot does not seem to be high enough. As you pull up the cords around the perimeter tighten.
I had an old pair of Keen sliders that were basically the Keen H2 with the heel strap removed. They were big and clunky, but I loved them and wore them around the house as slippers for seven or eight years until they fell apart. I was delighted to find these replacements as they are much more civilized for wear around the house. I was concerned about the lack of adjustment, but somehow the UNEEK design allows for this. The fit is great barefoot or with socks, and the support as good as in the old sliders. I really like them and may even order the sandal version.
First off, I'm a huge fan of Keen shoes. I've owned several pairs over the years. I have found their shoes to be consistently comfortable for me, because I have wide feet and appreciate a little wiggle room for the piggies. Keen has my work shoes covered, I know that... yet I wanted a nice comfy pair of airy sandal type shoes for the weekend. We all have our favorite sofa shoes that are built for watching tv and eating junk food. Well I'm sad to say that I wasn't impressed with these shoes. First off they are very expensive for what they are, ok well maybe they are comfortable? Nope. People in Thailand (where these shoes are made) must have much smaller feet than myself, because I ordered a size larger than normal and my feet kinda sorta fit without socks on... with socks? Forget it. I still love you Keen, but this one needs some work!!!
Purchased first pair for a cruise. Three pair later, still loving them! My toenails are ugly so I appreciate how these hide them, and the ability to slide them on when on the go. Perfect for a cruise when you need a shoe that can get wet, be casual, and even a bit dressy for meals. They do get loose after a year or so, and can tear at times; but each pair has outlasted tennis and deck shoes. Oh, and I've been asked about these at the cleaners, grocery store check out, etc. Guess they are stylish as well as practical :)
I would much rather buy from a store. I can’t check the fit on Amazon. I hate to send things back, so I hope they will stretch out a little. Other than that they are wonderful sandals
At first I didn't like these shoes as the knots in the webbing seemed uncomfortable and the soles felt too hard but after wearing them anyway they seemed to get softer and much more comfortable. I found out quickly that I can't drive the car while wearing them as they slide off but maybe that's because I wear a size 46 (men's US 11 1/2) and they're pretty big. I'm not sure I'd buy them again but I'm going to wear them since I bought them. They look very nice. Of course they are fine when I'm out in the heat but my feet freeze in frigid supermarkets but that does happen when I'm wearing sandals or other open shoes. I bought the grey pair too.
