The KEEN Men's Daytona 2 Open Toe Sandals stand out for several reasons. In terms of comfort, the leather-covered footbed coupled with a cork-infused midsole ensures that every step feels cushioned. The generous width allows your toes to spread naturally, which is perfect for all-day wear.
When it comes to design, these sandals boast a sleek yet rugged aesthetic, making them suitable for casual outings and more adventurous pursuits alike. Plus, the environmentally preferred leather not only enhances their look but also aligns with sustainable practices.
The functionality of the sandal is another highlight. With features like the lace lock bungee system, getting these sandals on and off is a breeze. Additionally, the high-traction rubber soles provide stability, making them an excellent choice for walking on trails or uneven surfaces.
However, like any product, there are minor drawbacks. The initial break-in period may present slight discomfort, especially if you have narrower feet. Plus, some users might find the arch support lacking if they have specific foot health needs.
Overall, the KEEN Men's Daytona 2 Open Toe Sandals strike a remarkable balance between style, comfort, and sustainability. Perfect for anyone seeking reliable footwear for a variety of activities, these sandals are certainly worth considering for your next adventure.

I have waited for these sandals to come back I to production. My old pair lasted for 10 years. When I saw they had started making these again, I rushed to buy another pair. The soles are even more substantial and comfortable than the old ones. They fit well, wear forever, and are my favorite footwear in the warmer months.Fit is just as I expected for my shoe size. Arch support is fantastic.
Finally! Keen reintroduced my favorite sandal of all time - the Daytona. My feet and I have greatly missed this comfortable sheath and I was forced into other directions for sandal ware. I ordered these the moment I saw they were back and have been very happy since receiving them. I did order a size 9 as recommended and the fit is great. The back straps are still loosening up but the footbed feels great. I'll probably order a second pair for storage and later use in case Keen makes the mistake of canceling these as they did the original.
The new Daytona 2 is almost identical to my old pair from about 10 years ago. Footbed pattern identical. Sole tread pattern identical. Stitching identical. Size identical. Country of origin, old is China new is India. Oh, and the “Waterproof” tag of the old pair is a rubbery plastic, and the new tag is fabric. The 5 stars may be premature, since I can’t judge their durability yet. Note the use of shoe goo on the over-pronation wear on the heal on the old sandal. I’d goo them up again if it weren’t for the crack starting to form in the soles at the ball of the foot.My only concern is that I immediately noticed the new sandal is lighter than the old one. 2 ounces lighter, with the old sandal at 18 ounces, and the new one at 15.85 ounces. I’m sure this difference is in the sole material. The old sandal’s sole is a solid dense rubber material. The new sole is softer and doesn’t feel as substantial, although it is far from flimsy. Only time and distance will tell if it holds up as well as the original pair.
This is my 3rd pairAnd the comfort and size are always spot on.
This is the 4 th pair of these saddles I have bought I am very excited to see keen brought these back
After being off market for many years, KEEN finally re-introduced their open toe Dayton 11 sandal for men. BUT, now made in India, not China. Sole has been cheapened as has innersole, less cushioning equals less comfort. Also the over strap of sandal is slightly smaller, making even a half size larger bit tight. Have written to KEEN customer service and one of their executives with zero response. The closed toe version that I also have, KEEN Newport, now made in Thailand still has great fit, better sole and inner sole, great comfort. Disappointed in zero response from KEEN as well as downgrade of product.
This is my 3rd pair of these Keen sandals in the last 12 years. I’m in a warm weather climate so these jokers are worn off and on for 10 months a year and are my go to footwear. They are extremely durable and withstand all types of terrain and weather conditions. I wear them in the water all the time and wear them dry and the leather holds up great! The only reasons I have replaced them is because I wear the tread totally off and they get slippery! This new pair feels like the 4 year old pair I’m replacing. So if your looking for a great all terrain - all weather sandal this is it. I wear an 11 boot or athletic shoe but wear a 11.5 in this sandal.
I've been waiting for nearly 5 years for Keen to bring back this sandal. My old ones are around 18 years old now and I've glued then back together so many times my wife keeps telling me to pitch them but I keep fixing them waiting for Keen to bring this model back again and lo and behold! I stumbled across these on Amazon and couldn't get them into my cart fast enough! That new closed toe model Keen replaced these with is isn't for me so I just kept waiting, looking around and gluing away. I've got hundreds if not thousands of miles on these old ones. Been to Jamaica 3 times in them, Cabo many times, Texas, border Mexico towns and of course the USA Florida, Kansas and beyond. They may seem pricey to those not in the know, but I won't have anything else on my feet but Keen. Worth every penny and then some. Amazon saved my bacon on these and I couldn't be happier! Order about 1 shoe size larger than regular tennis shoes you wear and you'll likely be spot on. I can walk all day everyday in these no problem. Both pairs pictured are 10.5 the old ones the sole is coming off them after literally wearing them out. No velcro these are quality foot wear.
