I loved these shoes as soon as I opened them but unfortunately they were too small. I was so bummed because they were so cute on. They’re really light on your feet. I’m glad I ordered another pair from another company for backup. I’m a 6 but I know in espadrilles to go a half size up because they run small but in this case I needed to go a whole size up.
i shouldn't have bought a half size up i am 9.5 and i bought 9.5 in red and it fit perfectly. The black is comfortable but a little big to the back and cant be worn without the laces
Very cute shoes and I think they would be comfortable in the correct size. I read other reviews and questions about sizing in Havaianas and was under the impression that sizing down at least 1/2 a size from what my usual US size is would get a better fit because "they run big"....NO THEY DO NOT. I normally wear a 7 1/2 but decided to order a 7 because of reviews. They may work if they stretch a little but I would've been better off to order the next size up instead. And they are very slim fitting too...
Now we just need to wear shoes. They are typical espadrilles. Flat, no arch support , etc. but I expect them to break in like the flip flops do and form to your feet.
Material rough, very narrow foot and the sole of the shoe is rock-hard. Returning them.
If I wear them without the ribbons my feet tend to come out in the back. Ribbons should be longer
This are really nice to wear with summer dresses, shorts, etc. They look very well manufactured and the fabric is very soft.
They are simple and comfortable because I ordered them a bit bigger to put some insoles inside and given them cushioning because otherwise they are flat like beach sandals. They need the removable strap otherwise they collapse from the back of the ankle. I thought they could be like my Toms and they are not but I like them and may buy another pair since they are cheap to be around the house!
