The bottom sole is a little rough. I put in a Dr. Scholl's foot pad and it feels great. Not a bad sandal if you are only going to use it once or twice a year. Good for short hikes of not more than a mile or so. I would not use these for a 5+ mile hike unless its on a beach.
My 11 year old son is wearing shoes right before mens sizes and wanted keens which mind you are more than double the price for one size going from kids to mens and as a child he also did not like the looks of mens so I started to look else where and found these which he said are very comfortableNow the real test if they will last the whole summerUpdate less then a month later they broke
Looks great, fit is correct. Sole of shoe made of tiny squares that took my feet a few days to acclimate to. (Gave general sensation of bed of nails without the pain) after my feet got used to the feeling, they were fine.
Insole padding not as soft as it looks. Had to get gel inserts to make them comfortable. Maybe re-engineer that part?Other than that, 👍🏼
I got these for my husband. He loves them great fit and strong material.Very comfortable too. Will by from this brand again.
I bought these in the hope that I’d find something less expensive than higher end brands that also call themselves “ hiking sandals” that you can wear barefoot such as Teva which are about double the cost. I find these sandals to have no “ spring” when I walk. They could use more arch support and the texture of the pad that touches my feet is annoying. Won’t buy again. Might donate and buy higher end
But I think it's overpriced
