I usually wear size 9, wide. These fit fine. They do stretch a bit very soon. They seemed snug only for the first couple minutes.Though my feet are wide at the ball of the foot, my toes narrow down from there.The very end of the shoe is pretty narrow and if my toes were wider they might hang over a bit.So if your foot is wide at the toes you may not like these.For me they are comfortable and pretty.They are very delicate looking, and when I unpacked them (never saw shoes so fancily packed) I thought "How will my feet ever fit in these?"But they do.
I can't express enough how much I love these slippers. My mother loves them too and wants a pair now. I almost want to leave the house with them hahaha. They're surprisingly comfortable and they look so classy! Dita Von Teese is my idol and she has these in so many colors. She inspired me to get my own. So glad I found them for a reasonable price on Amazon. I feel so sexy, classy, and elegant wearing them with my new black satin/lace robe! I definitely recommend wearing a satin robe with this if you're going for a sexy vintage look! I only wear black all the time, but I might actually get another pair in red because they're so beautiful. Thank you!
I have other Ellie marabou slippers of other model designs so this is in comparison to those. The color was fine and as shown/described, as was the fuzzy feathers. The toe box where the strap is is pretty in line with their other models. The actual toe is much longer and pointier than other models, which is fine, but can look a little goofy if you have short toes. The actual length seemed shorter than their other models of the same size. The part that really disappointed me is how flimsy they were when walking. There is a ton of flex and twist that happens when walking and feels very unstable. This part stuck out to me as being very different from their other models which have all been very rigid and stable. Not sure if it’s a material thing or what but not the best to do any sort of walking in. I don’t think I’d buy this model ever again, but as long as their other model design haven’t changed I’d still be confident in their other products. Skip these for some of their other product lines.
The shoes run small so size up especially if you are a half size. They are more narrow than medium. I barely got my medium foot in the shoe. They were damaged in the shipping as well as poor quality controlled because of glue left on the satin foot cover parts of the slipper. For the price, they were not worth the buy unless you have small and/or narrow foot. Again, runs small. I wear am 8 or 81/2 and the 9 was on the Dot!!!! Nice size heel and cute shoe bit not enough feathers and feathers are flimsy. Again, on the Dot!!! I bought two pair and must send both pair back. I will try the Pleasers..
Had to order a size up bc my feet are wide. My regular size has a tight fit. But I wore them out to an event so I kept them and ordered another color in another size. Then my collegiate wanted a pair so I ordered this pair for her. Very classy as house shoes or to wear out. My friends were making fun of kitten heels so I showed them mine. They said, “Yours are cute tho. We not including yours as the ugly ones.” I do normally wear 3-4 in heels, but these r cute and comfy as long as you size up.
I love these. It's become hard to find this kind of slipper with only a 2.5" heel. All the others I've found have a 3-4" heel -- pretty, but not comfortable for slippers when they're too high.I only have 2 minor issues: 1) The feathers are light, not as full and fluffy as I expected. But they still look fun and pretty. 2) The toe part of the sole is cut at too sharp of a point, so that some part of your toes inevitably runs over the edge. Thankfully, these are only for indoors -- otherwise that would be a major problem.
I ordered these as my first pair of heels. As a guy learning to wear heels i didn’t want a really tall heel. I found these to be comfortable, a little narrow but still comfortable to wear and a very sexy addition to my nighties.
I’m a guy and my wife loves me to wear these around the house. They are a little narrow and a little short but fine for my use. I have many heels that fit great so definitely size up on these.
