These are wonderful sandals. I bought these to replace my Ecco sandals that I have been using daily for the last ten years as they finally wore out. This newer version is even better, more comfortable, with a great color scheme. Ecco products are expensive but they are worth every penny you pay for them. I have always had great experiences with Ecco shoes, sandals, and sneakers.
The European sizing for Ecco shoes seems more true to fit than American sizing. For me. No issues with these well made already comfortable sandals. Nice looking leather. As an aside, I have a pair of Ecco chukka boots that are around 15 years old, which I have worn religiously every winter in Michigan. They still look better than most new boots. Well made durable and mighty comfortable shoes.
The sandal fit well. The 46 size doesn’t change. It was a little stiff around the ankles but got softer with a little wear. The other Yucatán sandals have cloth near the ankles which makes the difference. Ecco shoes are awesome!

This is my third pair of ECCO Yucatan sandals. I have always been very pleased with their design, construction and fit. If anything, this third pair seem to be a further improvement in design. I am delighted.
These sandals are the current (slightly sportier) version of a long-standing design by Ecco. I bought my original pair soon after they were introduced, when Ecco was relatively new to this country. They were the most comfortable sandals I had ever put on my feet, and fit perfectly. That was a while ago. My old pair finally wore out after many years, so I needed replacements. Buying a new pair during quarantine meant not being able to try on multiple different sandals. So, I took a chance and went with the current model of my trusted sandals. They are still great fitting sandals, and the Velcro closures still work wonderfully to make three different adjustments. The only drawback is the choice of material in the footbed. Whatever it is that they used as the final layer feels a little strange. Also, the footbed/sole is slightly harder. These are not big complaints, just the evolution of a brand as they move production around the world. No longer made exclusively in Denmark, these sandals come from the far East. Almost as good as the ones they replaced, I'll probably continue to be a fan.
I tried other brands and even sandals of the same brand. I found these Yucatan sandals to be comfortable and well-constructed with quality materials. They also look good. I highly recommend them.
These are without question the BEST sandals I've ever worn. Great support and I use them for my daily walks!
