These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I typically need to wear or supports in my tennis shoes, etc. so sandals have been a bit of a problem unless I do some tacky method of putting a arch support glued to the top of a sandal with these it was not necessary. I wear them all the time and my feet love them.
Just got back from Greece and these sandals stayed on most of the trip, we had terrain from slippery marble rocks, wet marble streets, to rocky mountain dirt trails. These guys kept me alive.Great buy.
As expected I take a 46 in European sizing and a 11 EE in US sizing. Love them!
My third pair in ten years. Perfect fit, great looking and worth the price.
Feels comfortable
And fashionable !
Great fit and features. Just added the beige to my collection.
I own a few pairs of ECCO shoes and I love them. Their sizing is often way too large but once you get the sizing right, they feel great on your feet. Not so for these sandals. For these, I had to go down one size but sizing is not the problem. First of all, they are huge in footprint and appearance. I guess that explains the "Plus" in the name. They are clunky and awkward. I would hardly call these "sporty". They look and wear like one of those gigantic sandals that you wear over a cast. Because they are so massive and clunky, they aren't super flexible and so the straps bind at points on my feet.To be honest, they are NOT instruments of torture and are comfortable enough for daily walking. I've worn them on 2-3 mile walks and they are okay, except for the occasional strap hot spots. But for anything sportier like hiking, I would pass on these.Appearance-wise, I am self-conscious wearing these because of their clunky, massive look, they look like some kind of rehab sandal. And they definitely feel more like I'm wearing a boot rather than a sandal. But the thing I hate the most is the straps at the heel and on the top of the foot. They keep curling inward (see photo) so that every time I put them on, I have to arrange all the straps so that they lay flat before I can velcro them in. It honestly takes longer to put on these sandals than to put on a pair of shoes.I wish I could return them but sadly, you only realize these things once you've taken them out on the road. I am still an ECCO fan but these are a FAIL.
