When it comes to outdoor sandals, the ECCO Men's EXOWRAP 3-Strap Sport Sandal stands out in terms of comfort and adaptability. Featuring a refined construction that combines a soft microfiber upper with responsive cushioning, these sandals cater effectively to all-day usage. The inclusion of three adjustable straps provides an accommodating fit for various foot shapes and sizes, which is crucial when you’re navigating different terrains.
The use of ECCO’s FLUIDFORM technology further enhances the experience by molding to the natural shape of your foot. This anatomical design not only promotes stability but also offers exceptional shock absorption—making these sandals perfect for hiking, beach outings, or casual city strolls.
Design-wise, the crisscross strap layout adds a touch of contemporary flair while serving functionality. The reflective details are a thoughtful addition for those who enjoy evening activities, standing out just enough without being overly flashy. Despite their sporty look, these sandals pair well with casual summer outfits, enabling you to transition seamlessly between different settings.
However, it's worth noting that while most users will find them instantly comfortable, some may experience a brief break-in period. Additionally, ECCO's color selections are somewhat limited, which may not cater to everyone’s aesthetic desires. Nonetheless, if you're seeking a reliable, versatile sandal for the warmer months, the ECCO Men's EXOWRAP 3-Strap Sport Sandal is a worthy investment.

ECCO has been my favorite brand of sandals for decades. They are quite comfortable and last for many years, even under high stress hiking situations. They're a little more on the expensive side, but in my mind worth it. This particular style (Exowrap) is new to me, but my first impression of them is favorable. They fit like broken-in shoes -- no pinching or negative friction anywhere. I think they look pretty nice, too. The only point of contention I have regarding this particular pair is with my wife. She says they're gray whereas I say they are brown (ECCO describes them as 'Shale,' whatever that means...). "Obviously," she's right (duh). If they fall apart in the not-too-distant future, I'll follow up, but I don't expect that will happen.
- I normally order a size 44 Euro and the size fits for me.- The front strap is comfortable and stretchable with no hair pulling going on compared to some sandals that I've tried on.- Straps are sturdy as well like the Yucatan's or Offroad's. I prefer this over the other buckle version as it looks to be sturdier and firmer. There are padding as well on the straps which provides a very comfortable hold.- Edges on the straps are made of soft material which doesn't cause any chafing or blisters.- Soles feel comfortable and there is a "bounce" feel to it. Arch support feels a little closer to the heel, but maybe it'll break-in and mold to the shape of the foot? Will see how it goes.- Good grip from the Outsoles for both casual walking and hiking. Design looks like car tire threads.
The shoes are in general good. The sole is cushy and bouncy as advertised, straps are sturdy and secure, and the craftsmanship is good. Sizing wise, Euro 42 is really US Mens 9, as I always have US size 9, but with Ecco, have to go with their translation.Could not give it a 5-star just for the brand name as there are two issues:1. The insole shape is strange. Looks that there is arch support, but is way too far back towards the heel. i even deliberately make the heel contact right at the back edge of the insole, meaning the extremity of my heel project outside of the insole, but still feel the arch support is way too far back. Design issue.2. Left outside strap is slightly taller than the right one; I compared it, meaning the left strap rubs my left lateral malleolus while the right side feels just good. Maybe this is due to machine mis-calibration or human error.
I’ve tried many brands. These are the only ones that are really comfortable. Highly recommend.
So far so good, 2nd full week in these sandals and loving every step, so many ways you can adjust these to a custom fit, some days my feet swell and when they do I can readjust for perfect fit, quality of these are on par with top of the line sandals with extraordinary comfort, I’m a big guy so comfort is key when going on my walks, I own close to a dozen sandals , I will say comfort, style, quality these are my new fave.
I ordered a size 43 for my size 9.5 feet and it was a perfect fit. Very comfortable too.
I have another pair of ecco sandels that are over 10 years old and still holding up well. Took a chance on these given the good reviews. These are even more comfortable then the old pair, just a little weird looking. But the cushioning and comfort are worth it. Other sandals owned from keen all eventually separate from the sole, but not the eccos. Very well made.
I really like it
