I bought these to wear on hot days while walking with my wife, we do (nearly) daily 1/2 mile walks to help her get exercise. These are comfortable for this and seem very durable. They are accurately sized as near as I can tell (I got what I ordered).I haven not used them otherwise, so can not say how they would work in water or seriously hiking.
Love me some Ecco sandals, especially those that can go in the water. Nothing wrong with these sandals, of course they are Ecco. But after ordering (twice) size 8.5, and receiving (twice) size 7.5, I quit trying to buy from this company. I will wait until they are sold by an outfit that pays more attention to what they ship vs. what was ordered. Amen.
It is unfair of me to give star rating because amazon sent the wrong size. If seller can change star rating later, I would certainly change it. There seems to be a problem with amazon fulfillment center. I have used Ecco's water sandals for years. They hold up well. I would recommend them.
