So my ex- and I have become traveling buddies- and we both have foot issues. She turned me onto the idea of Dr Sholl's inserts as a "game changer" (she just became a Flight Attendant where she's aon her feet all day). So I tried the inserts and omg.. what a difference!But I prefer sandals and Dr Sholl's inserts don't really work well with sandals and flip flops. That's when she mentioned to me "you know.. Dr Sholl's offers sandals" so I immediately looked! Was happy to find out that they offer sandals and all sorts of foot wear.The ex- and I recently started walking to get fit again. And we also took a trip to Europe for a week where we averaged 20k steps/day.All I can say is, i will never buy any footwear BESIDES Dr Sholl's again! They aren't anymore expensive than any other brand, plus many are "try before buy" here on Amazon.These particular sandals are obviously very comfy with the open slip-in design and no extra bands to slide through (although I bought a pair of more rugged ones like that for adventure walks as well). All 3 i tried feel so good. I HAD TO FORCE myself to return one of them as having 3 pairs is a bit overboard. lol

Seems pretty abrasive on the top edge where elastic and leather are sewn together. I wear with socks as I don't like running around with band-aids on my feet
The like part is very comphy and weightless easy walk but non waterproof
