Comfortable, Stylish, & Durable
I was a bit hesitant to buy these due to the reviews stating they were having fitting issues. Which now that I have them, I can see why people were having these problems! I’m normally a women’s 8.5/9 & I ordered these in a 9. They fit like a dream!! They are a bit longer & the soles go past my feet but I do not mind that at all, I actually prefer this type of fit so dirt stays off my toes better. I plan to wear these with socks, so that shouldn’t be a problem anyway. I notoriously have problems with shoes not fitting as I have pretty big ankles, wide stubby feet, & the arch/curve on top of my foot is pretty high. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that these fit me perfectly & comfortably! Very rare for me! I absolutely love the adjustable straps. There is a clip in buckle on the third strap that makes putting these on a breeze, no need to re-adjust the Velcro every-time! Overall a very practical, stylish, and well thought out design. If you’re hesitant to buy these, I would say go for it. Amazon’s discounted prices & easy return policy definitely eased my mind when deciding to order these! 10/10 :)
I’m a hairstylist and I have been wearing these every day at the salon since Father’s Day. I call them my dad shoes. Of course I had to get them in white as well but that’s a whole different story. I get so many compliments on these. I have sent the link to these shoes so many times it’s ridiculous. I normally wear an 8.5/9 but ordered a size down because of the sizing with another pair of doc sandals and they fit perfectly.
They aren't as comfortable as I thought the straps hurt my ankles it needs more padding around the straps. I did like the fact these were made to last for years and the souls were comfortable. But I wouldn't recommend long walks with them not for hiking.
One music fest down and a week at Laughlin NV and i love em….there really was no breaking in period They were very comfortable from the start. I’m not sure who these Neanderthals are that claim the buckle breaks but I cannot imagine how they are breaking em they seem fine to me I’ve seen these for over $100, at other places, I paid 67something. However, I would pay over 100 for them. They’re great I’ll be back for more.
Poorly made..terrible quality..
This is not my first pair of DM sandals. My first pair were great. Lasted forever. They were heavy and solid leather. These sandals are so much lighter. I love the ripstop fabric. You can use these as water shoes if needed. They are so comfortable. My feet and knees are so happy walking with these. I loved them so much I purchased another pair for my wife!
Tldr; They're nice but too big. Order a size down.First: these are the highest quality sandals I've ever seen. I'm sure they'll hold up well. They are for sure oversized for an unexpected reason: they have the same soles as their normal boots. Unfortunately you cannot tighten the straps in the same way you can shoe laces, and sandals kinda require a tighter fit than closed toed shoes.I ordered my regular size and they were uncomfortably loose with too much toe space in the front. They fit my partner who's about a shoe size up from me though, so the purchase wasn't a total waste!
