When it comes to outdoor footwear, particularly for water-related activities, the Columbia Women's WAVE TRAIN™ Sandal delivers a winning combination of comfort, durability, and function. The hydrophobic webbing ensures that any moisture will dry quickly, allowing you to transition smoothly from water to land without discomfort. The adjustable hook-and-loop closure means that you can easily tailor the fit to your needs, making them suitable for prolonged use.
The traction provided by the Omni-Grip outsole is exemplary, giving you confidence as you navigate slippery surfaces—be it rocks, sand, or boat decks. Users have praised its performance, noting that the sandals hold up well even after frequent water exposure.
While the sandals do provide remarkable support and comfort thanks to the Techlite midsole, some customers have pointed out that sizing may run slightly small. Nice comfy every day sandals!
I ordered one pair of these in size 5 and thought they were sized wrong so I sent them back. They were huge. Ordered a 2nd pair and these aren’t only too big as well but the straps at the toes are off. I compared the length of the velcro strap on the toe and the right is about an inch longer than the left and it doesn’t meet where it needs to to so I can’t even strap it.These are probably the equivalent to a size 6.5 in length but very narrow. I am a 5.5 in other shoes and with a size 5 in these I have a good 1.5inch from where my toe ends to the end of the shoe. Going back a 2nd time. Too bad because they would be comfortable if they fit. I can’t go down a size. 5 is the smallest.
Loved these so much last year that I ordered another pair for this summer.
Had to return because they are incredibly narrow. Gave 4 stars because the seller was easy to work with. Zero issue with the return.
These sandals have potential, but Columbia needs to make some adjustments to them. First, the footbed is oddly long. Second, the toe straps hit at a weird place on the pinky toe and so my toe keeps going in and out from in-between the straps when I walk. Third, the straps are narrow and I think that a little wider strap would be more comfortable. The footbed is very comfortable, but the rest of the sandal needs a bit of an overhaul.
These are cute sport sandals with a fairly comfy footbed, but there are several problems that made them unusable to me. They are quite long--I am a 8.5, but ordered an 8 based on other reviews and still they felt a size too long. The straps were a bit flimsy like ribbons and though they are adjustable I could not fit my regular-width foot into the front comfortably. It hit at a strange point at my pinky toe. Obviously it works for some people, so I gave it two stars--they could be nice if they'd worked on my feet.
This is my second pair. I would buy more colors if I could.
Perfect for hiking, water sports, and casual wear.
