The Columbia Techsun Vent Sport Sandals have been thoughtfully crafted to meet the dynamic needs of children. Starting with the material, the quick-drying synthetic leather is ideal for those impromptu splashes at the pool or beach. This feature is particularly appealing as it prevents discomfort associated with wet footwear, allowing your child to stay active without delay.
In terms of grip, the Omni-Grip non-marking traction rubber excels in providing confidence when walking on slick surfaces. Parents can feel secure knowing their little ones are less likely to slip while exploring. The cupsole construction adds an extra layer of support, ensuring that each step is cushioned, reducing fatigue during lengthy excursions.
The design offers a hook and loop closure system which simplifies the process for kids putting on and taking off the sandals by themselves—a plus for promoting independence. However, it's worth noting that some parents have reported these sandals may run small, suggesting a possible need to size up for a more comfortable fit.
Overall, the Columbia unisex child Techsun Vent Sport Sandal effectively balances style, functionality, and comfort for active kids. While they may not be suited for very rugged terrains, they shine in everyday activities, making them a reliable companion for any child’s summer adventures.

True to size. Quality made. Has seen rugged use and is holding up great. Highly recommended.
Really great quality and so easy to put on my child who normally fights me when trying to put shoes on him.
Normally I wear a 6 in boys and find them a little wider than the women's shoes. Recently bought another brand of shoes and they were a little large. So I ordered a size 5 instead of the 6 which fit perfectly and they are comfortable. I bought these to wear on an upcoming trip to Israel in May. As it will be hot in most places, walking in these should be a breeze in more ways than one. The price was right on these sandals as well. I have worn them some to see how they feel (as I live in Florida I can wear them), and they feel good on my feet. I recommend them to ladies who have small yet wide feet, and for boy's. They are a great pair of shoes/sandals.
Nice and cushy insole. Although there's only two instead of the three that other sandals have they're quite adjustable. They need some breaking in, the straps are a bit stiff and rough along the edges but a few months of wear will have them as soft and comfortable as the bouncy insole. Sizing seems absolutely true to the listing. We got these for my mother and went from a size five that was a little too short to these in a six which fit just fine. The color is as pictured. The blue straps with red writing and logos, light grey pull tabs that match the grey soles are a subdued but attractive combination.
I like the sandles and are exactly as shown in the picture
Quality is top notch. My son wears a 5, which is what I purchased to begin with - had to return them for a 6, which honestly, he could probably use a 6.5 or 7. The 6 just fits - so there is no room to grow for next year. Granted, he usually wears a wide width, but I thought with it being a sandal, his foot would have room. Not so much. But he really likes them and says they are comfortable.
They are very well made, comfortable and look great. My 9 year-old really enjoys this pair
After wearing it for a week, unfortunately, my son has started complaining that it’s digging into the sides of his feet, so maybe they’re not wide enough? They look good But I’m not sure he’s going to wear them anymore.
