I was surprised to read that someone said they got blisters around their ankles from wearing these. These shoes are extremely comfortable and I could walk hours in them without problems. To be fair, I am also used to walking a lot at my job and I wore Yellow Box sandal wedges to Disney World last year walking 10 miles a day in them without issues. I plan to wear these to Disney this year. I would not size up or down. I'm a size 8 and that's what I got and they fit comfortably.
To the girlies looking for a cute summer shoe, this is not it. Wore for about 30 min and got the worst blisters around my ankles. So painful. The shoe is too heavy on the flimsy ankle strap to realistically wear anywhere that you plan to be walking around. Keep it exclusively to seated engagements only if you even dare to wear them.
A little clunkier than expected, otherwise a really nice sandal. Comfortable, easy to walk in. Very happy with purchase!
