When it comes to summer footwear, few options compare to the comfort provided by the Chaco Women's Mega Z Cloud Sandal. These sandals truly excel in their cushioning, making them ideal for long walks or standing for extended periods without discomfort.
The adjustable strap system is both a blessing and a curse. It allows you to customize the fit according to your foot type, which is great for achieving that secure feeling. However, some wearers have mentioned that the straps may need readjusting throughout the day, especially after prolonged use.
In terms of traction, the ChacoGrip rubber outsole shines. Whether you're hiking through wet terrain or navigating city streets, these sandals will keep you grounded. Additionally, the eco-conscious design speaks volumes about the brand's commitment to sustainability, which can make you feel good about your purchase.
However, like most sandals, there's typically a break-in period. A few users reported minor discomfort initially, but this subsided as they were worn more frequently. Overall, if you prioritize function and comfort in your summer footwear, the Chaco Women's Mega Z Cloud Sandals should be at the top of your list.

Love the wide straps. Comfy. Not heavy like old Chaco’s. Still HD for river walking. Stabilizing. Machine washable. Perfect for beach, lake, river or just summer hiking. Nice arch support.
This is my second pair of chacos and my kids all have them as well. I have a pretty wide foot and they all have narrow feet and we all enjoy them. I’ve tried on the Wide sizes and they are too wide for me but nice that they can accommodate even wider feet! I believe they are true to size. In Nike sneakers I wear a 9 and the 9 fits me great in chacos. I enjoy the wider foot strap on this style and the larger metal buckle! I wish they all had metal buckles over plastic. These are super durable and comfortable to wear for long periods. Since they are one continuous strap that adjusts at all points (except the very rear strap from the left to right side of ankle) making the fit totally customizable all the way down the foot. If the straps become difficult to move after wearing them, I like to wash mine and then you add a drop or two of fabric softener into the strap holes and pull the trap back and forth and it loosens up any gritty matter in there and allows the straps to be adjusted easily. The arch is very supportive. I have a hi-ish arch and sometimes wearing too long it can start to bother me a bit so would imagine those would be a dream for really high arched individuals.
IMO Chacos are normally overpriced, but great if you catch them on sale at Amazon. Picked these up for $32 and for that price they are well worth it. The "Mega Z" has a bit wider straps than on their regular sandals, and are extremely comfortable. Also, these have metal buckles. Would recommend if you like Chaco sandals.
Bought for an international trip that would potentially include rain and heat, these sandals were PERFECT! The west well and are comfortable even after 10 miles of walking a day!!
Authentic brand and cheaper than local stores. Will definitely buy this from Amazon again. True to size. I'm a 12 in every normal shoe (12.5 or 13 in Nike) and I wear a 12 in these.
One of the straps was twisted, took about ten minutes to fix, but was able to fix it myself.
Oh gosh so glad I bought these. Pros: really cute, lovely color, arch and heel support, really padded to walk on. I have high arches and a high instep, and my feet give me a lot of trouble. I currently have a tarsal condition that is similar to carpal tunnel, but it affects your inside ankle. These shoes keep my foot supported and aligned properly, thereby easily the pain. The ankle straps took me a minute to figure out but no issues now. Basically these are not slip on shoes, but it only takes a second to put them on and adjust the straps. All of your toes are exposed, which means there is no squashing of your little toe like some shoes do. The wide straps feel great and secure - no worries about your feet sliding in them. They also aren’t super light or heavy to wear. The footbed is awesome- at first I thought the diamond pattern might be a problem for the bottom of my feet but I don’t notice it at all. The most comfy summer shoes ever, and you could easily add some dark socks and wear them with jeans in the fall. My podiatrist who hates summer shoes is even on board with these! If you are on the fence buy a pair and wear them in the house for a day. If you don’t love them, send them back. Just give them a few hours to get used to. And a big thanks to the lady wearing this brand at Aldi who recommended them to me. You were right they are awesome!!
I very much like the look and feel of these sandals: a nice color and pattern, and very comfortable, Without the Chaco instructions for loosening and tightening the straps, I couldn't have worn them-- they fit too loosely before. Thank you, Chaco, for putting that card in the box telling me where to find the manual on your website.
