I purchased this pair of sandals for my son who had been wearing the same brand and style for more years than any sandal can survive (he's not one for change). At least he tried them on then and there, and the smile started on his face, then the old pair went into the trash. He was sold on this new pair!!! He loved the style, fit, and comfort! I'm sure he will wear this pair until it wears out, and I will again replace them with the current model whatever year that will be.
These are great quality and so comfortable. I just got these because my old ones broke after a couple years. They were used and abused and still lasted for awhile. I work at a camp during the summer and I used to have an issue with sore feet by the end of the day but with chacos I am pain free by the end of a busy week. I’ve hiked in these, used them as swimming shoes in a pond, ran, worked, and so much more and they are resilient. I highly recommend these to everyone.
These are so comfortable! Once you get the hang of the straps they're the best. Great for Dads who don't care how they look.
Great quality, but it took a couple of tries to find what works. Read in multiple places to size down, and that is correct for length. I'm a 13 usually (sometimes wide) so tried a 12, but while the length was perfect the outer heel edges were digging in and causing pain. I didn't want to wear them outside to break in and risk not being able to return. Tried wide, but it was a little too wide with movement in the heel cup. Solution appears to be sizing up in regular width, which brings a little extra width in the heel cup but not too much. Adds a little to the length which I would not prefer, but can live with it. Don't think there's a perfect size for me, but I still like them.
My husband is very picky and when we went to Cabo for our honeymoon- these chacos STAYED on his feet! Very good fit, broke in very well! He wears them kayaking and other activities back home as well.
I hate the sandals with something between my toes, so tried these. The straps hold well on your foot, while still leaving it very open. I think I felt more naked with These on than I do barefoot.Only negative, they're way long, maybe go a size or so down.
I've been wearing Chaco sandals for about 13 years. They're really the only thing I wear on my feet all summer (and I have the tan lines to show it). I do have 2 pieces of advice though- order one size below your normal shoe size, and although Chaco offers a repair service it's not worth the money. I had one pair resoled and the new sole came loose after only a few times wearing them. I have worn these sandals hiking in the Rockys and to the top of the Eiffel tower and been comfortable at all times. Highly recommended.
I thought I wanted arch support on my sandals, sounded like it'd be very comfortable but after a while (few days in them, usually wore for a few hours at a time) it felt a touch strange. The strap adjustment was easy but I also found it a bit slow. If you wear these all day and like big arch support, makes sense. I ended up just buying TEVA's which are lighter, faster on and off, and had better arch support for "average" to flat feet.
