The Camper Men's Oruga Sandal, featured in a sleek black color and available in size 9, is designed for those who value both comfort and style. Named after the Spanish word for 'caterpillar', this sandal embodies lightness and flexibility, making it ideal for casual wear. Its extra-lightweight outsole offers excellent flexibility due to vertical cuts, allowing your feet to move naturally with each step.

The Camper Men's Oruga Sandal stands out primarily for its lightweight construction and unique flexibility, replicating the natural movements of your feet much like a caterpillar. When you slip these sandals on, you’ll immediately notice the comfortable cushioning that is perfect for everyday wear. The EVA material not only contributes to the lightness but also adds to the durability.
One of the key attributes of the Oruga sandal is its backstrap closure, which ensures that your foot remains secured while walking. However, some users have noted that achieving the perfect adjustment can take a little trial and error. While the sandal is undeniably stylish, it's crucial to keep in mind that it lacks water resistance, making it less than ideal for beach trips or rainy days.
When we look at alternatives such as the Teva Men's Universal Trail Sandal, we see that while it offers better water resistance, it may lack the sleek aesthetic charm of the Camper sandals. On the other hand, the Birkenstock Arizona Sandal provides more arch support but at a heavier weight. Overall, if you're searching for a sandal that prioritizes comfort and style over rugged functionality, the Camper Men's Oruga Sandal is worth considering.

Took it for $55. First of all quality and the weight are only benefits. Then comes understanding that you'll have to brake it for a long time. In my case they rub my ankle bones, a little water help to soften it (backside strap) but not drastically. All leather straps has a lather of polyester glued on the bask side, maybe it gives more strength, but also makes it more rigid. Second issue - only half of the innersole covered with leather, second half - recycled polyester mesh, which probably will soak all moisture and start to smell (maybe not).Overall I can't recommend it because it not work braking (compared to Birkenstock) because after it fails somewhere else.Update:I applied a skin balsam and it helped to make skin straps softer, but as I said the manufacturer glued a layer of cloth to the inner layer of the skin straps to reinforce it and now it’s the biggest problem for my feet. They cut feet like a knife and it cannot be softened.Update after 3 weeks:Now it is OK, but still rub my feet a sometimes in different spots. The ones sole surprisingly not stinks. So overall ok.Update after few month:Surprisingly they feels better and better. Light and robust. Sole is easy to clean. No odors. No noticeable signs of wear.
