When considering the Bogs Women's Classic High Handle Waterproof Insulated Boot for your cold-weather footwear, it's important to look at several key features:
Comfort: These boots are lined with Bogs Max-Wick, which efficiently wicks moisture away from your feet. Coupled with the contoured EVA footbed, you will experience comfort during extended wear. Users report that they can wear these boots all day without discomfort.
Insulation: Rated to perform in temperatures as low as -40F, these boots are perfect for extreme weather conditions. The insulation ensures that even in frigid climates, your toes will stay warm, making them a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts.
Traction: The non-slip rubber outsole provides an excellent grip on various surfaces, especially essential when dealing with ice and snow. This feature makes these boots reliable not just for work on farms but also for everyday activities like walking the dog or shoveling the driveway.
Design: The easy-on pull handles are a thoughtful addition, allowing you to slip the boots on quickly. However, it's worth noting that some users have pointed out that the sizing may run larger than expected, so trying them on or consulting sizing charts beforehand is recommended.

I've had these boots for a week and I couldn't be more happy. I have hesitated to get them because of the price and have been using regular rubber boots. But as I am doing horse chores daily in the northern midwest, I needed something that would be warm and waterproof. I slogged through 6 inches of nearly frozen mud without feeling any of it, and have been doing chores in 10 - 20 degree weather this week and my feet are comfortably warm. I don't doubt they will keep me warm all winter. I also imagine they will stay waterproof and not get cracks rubber boots are susceptible to (though I can't claim that yet).I ordered a size 9, though I generally wear 8 1/2. They are every so slightly too big (so I'd say the fit is true to size), but I have larger calves and wanted to be able to tuck my jeans in them. They solid but not too clunky. Jeans tucked in make them a bit tight, but not uncomfortable. The neoprene is a great improvement over regular rubber boots as it is stretch and grips your leg to make it more secure (less clunky) and more likely to stay on when you are mucking through nasty mud (and a horse runs you over). I stepped out of my rubber boots into freezing poop mud twice the week before these came in the mail.Though they're not ideal riding boots, I rode in them. They fit in the stirrups (of a western saddle) and I rode bareback without them sagging or trying to slide off. I'll keep these on while riding in the mud season because they are comfortable and will save my riding boots.
Great boots to have for a number of different outdoor projects. They are easy on and easy off. Surprisingly comfortable, too! Have not tried them in the snow yet but have waded in water and they keep feet warm and dry.
I needed a pair of boots to keep my feet warm for those long sessions at the dog park. These boots were recommended in an article about podiatrist recommended winter boots. They are very comfortable. They are pull on and very easy to get on. My feet do not freeze while I am at the dog park.
i wear these year round. They are the best snow boots ive ever worn. They get hot in the summer though. Honestly the best for snow
Even though many of the reviews said this boot ran a little small, I went ahead and ordered an 8 as all of my shoes are an 8 except one pair of Ariats that I had to get a 7.5 in. I was lucky enough to find my size on AWD at a great price so I had to try. Actually there wasn't a lot of options in a size 8 or 9 for these boots and I was a little bummed I didn't get to choose one of the cute colors.1st Pair: left boot fit like a dream! Snug but not too small comfy like a wet suit! Right boot was HUGE! Checked the size, right boot womens size 10. Amazon as always was quick to make up for the mistake.2nd Pair: Actual size 8's. Left boot fit awesome. Right boot just a hair too snug. After 5 minutes of wearing it in the house my foot was sore. DANG, returned.3rd Pair: Tried a pair of Mucks Edgewater size 8. They were a Mens/Womens boot so even though the length felt good the boot felt loose on calf/leg/foot.4th Pair: Bogs High Handle Classic in size 9. The upper was a much better fit than the Mucks, but the 9's are kinda big even with 2 pairs of socks.>>>>>This is why I took off 1 star!!!! Bogs needs half sizes!!!!<<<<<<<< Performance: The first thing I tried with these is getting them wet. I wasn't sure if the neoprene upper was water proof. I put my boot on and stuck it under the shower for about 1 minute. The water just beaded up and rolled off. Inside remained dry. Walking through the wet melting snow to the car I have not had any wetness. I have not slipped on anything in these boots yet. I wore them outside all afternoon in 2 feet of wet melty snow the other day and my feet stayed warm and dry. I also spent about 5 to 10 minutes wading around in a puddle of mud and slush. It wasn't quite deep enough to reach the neoprene part but the lower part did its job. After words I just walked threw the snow and the boots were clean in seconds. Will update this in the future.Last I don't know if this is good or bad but if I wear these around the house my feet get sweaty. I'm not a sweaty person and never have sweaty feet. I think this is because the boots are quite warm. I haven't gotten to really test them in the super cold as it hasn't been below 20 since I got these.
I love these Bogs. I bought them for walking through the mud & puddles & rubble that the floods have brought us in California. They fit great and are actually cushiony and comfortable. I have wide feet, but they aren't too narrow. I am a size 6 1/2, so I ordered a 7, since they only come in whole sizes. I'm happy I sized up instead of down, as they fit just right. I wear with medium thick socks, and they keep my feet warm and dry. I don't need the hand holes on each side to pull them on, because they slip on easily, and I actually wish they didn't have these since it limits how deep I can go thru puddles. They seem well-made and rugged, and I walk over pebbles, rocks and boulders in them. I bought a pair for my husband and he loves them. Highly recommend these Bogs!
If you’re looking for great boots and easy slip on bogs are the best. Fit is actual size. Comfortable and keep your feet dry.
I was looking for a durable boot that would hold up well to the cold and snow and be somewhat cute and fashionable at the same time. Probably too tall of an order. The boots are amazing in the snow and cold but they are BIG! Visually, physically BIG! They rival the size of my husband's hunting boots. I did order a size up because many said that they ran small, not sure that I should have done that. My other frustration was that the seller's return policy was not very clear. Any exchange/return that was "not their fault" would be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Having spent a lot to begin with, the idea of paying more to get a better product that would have better suited my needs did not sit well with me. In the end, they are great for the rough winter, not as cute or suitably fitted as I would have liked.
