ALDO Women's Velalith Heeled Sandal, Light Orange, 8.5 Review

Very comfortable and stylish shoe for all day work.

I got these for a bachelorette trip which entailed lots of walking and these held up without a scuff. They do run on the narrow side and take a few wears to break in so you won't blister but definitely worth it. I really like the textured grip at the bottom of the shoe because it makes a huge difference in not slipping and sliding like most flat/smooth sandals. Would definitely recommend

I ordered the ALDO Women's Velalith Heeled Sandal in a size 8 in the "Light Orange" colour. Normally, I wear a size 7.5 or size 8, and I have a wide foot with bunions. The size 8 fits me perfectly, and they're surprisingly comfortable and don't pinch my feet anywhere. They're plenty wide enough for my feet as well, which was a pleasant surprise.The low chunky block heel is sturdy, and these shoes are easy to walk in, although there's zero cushioning, so after some time, I'd imagine some discomfort and fatigue underfoot. I do wish the footbed weren't quite so firm, although the hardness of these does contribute to their stability, I suppose.I was wary of the "light orange" colour, but in person, it's actually much more of a pale salmon pink, and it's really quite beautiful. The colour is sort of a pinkish nude hue, but with a bit more visual interest than a typical taupe, tan, or cream coloured shoe. I think it will be surprisingly easy to pair this colour with a variety of outfits and summer dresses, and it would look beautiful on all skin tones.The construction of these shoes is nice and they're lightweight. They don't reek of synthetic plastics the way many other sandals I've purchased from Amazon do. I think these are suitable to be paired with even a more upscale or designer outfit, and nobody would suspect they're Aldo sandals from Amazon.I haven't had these shoes for very long, so I can't comment on the durability, but so far so good. I'd definitely recommend them to others, and if you're hesitating on the light orange colour, go for it! It's such a beautiful colour you don't see much in an understated sandal style like these.

I bought these since they were listed on an R29 article about the comfiest heels for spring. Never in my life have I developed that many blisters that fast from a new pair of shoes. I wore them to work, where I sit at my job. Just from walking in and out of my office twice my feet were screaming by the end of the day and it felt like I was openly bleeding from my toes. Also, they were much more intense peach color than I was expecting. I would send them back if I hadn’t have bought a pair of spring shoes in January and missed the return window. Do not buy the shoes.

In the past, I’ve LOVED my Aldo shoes!I have at least 3 pairs in my closet that I’ve owned for over 10 years— and I still wear them today!❤️Even their heels are SO comfortable, and tend to be made of only the highest quality material.IMO they’re right up there with my Naturalizer's, as far as both comfort & quality goes.However; I had no choice but to give 2 stars off of my review on these sandals😔I wear a size 11 across (almost!) all brands.However; because of the major variation in sizes between brands these days— I reached out to Aldo customer service after I couldn’t find their sizing charts (in centimeters + inches).I just had my feet professionally measured in-store, and I wanted to ensure that both the Aldo espadrilles (Size 11) & the Aldo sandals (Size 11) that I wanted to order, would actually fit upon delivery. I’ve been disappointed by too many shoes that I’ve ordered online lately, to take the risk of receiving shoes that don’t fit me once again— and in-turn, either having to return them -OR- being stuck with non-fitting shoes. No fun!I was able to get ahold of the measurements for both of my prospective sandals in Size 11. My measurements should’ve even allowed room to spare! But upon receiving both of my new shoes today…NEITHER of them fit!I am incredibly disappointed.I took 2 stars off because the measurements simply do not match the two charts that I was given.• Had it not been for the measurement discrepancy…THESE ARE SUCH GORGEOUS SHOES!❤️• The perfect shade of peachy-pink!• Definitely made of high-quality materials (which I’d expect no less from Aldo!).I would’ve loved to try them out. Perfect for even a casual day out, paired with a nice sundress.Overall, a 3 out of 5 stars 🌟 product.

I really love ALDO shoes and these are not the exemption, they are cute and comfortable, the color is very spring, summer time, can't wait for the hot weather to come so I can wear them with my sun dresses.I got them a few month back so I did wear them 2 times but with capries and a cute top, that's why I know they are comfortable, and easy to walk.They are a little bit small for me I got size 10 and they fit a little small I can see my heel out, other than that I like them!

I just love Aldo. Such an excellent brand that never disappoints.If we talk about looks.. This is such a classy, elegant, good looking sandal. Color is just beautiful and is trending nowadays. Fabric is high quality, feels so good to the touch. I love the block heel and square toe design, it is so dressy, and looks so good with pants. There is nothing cheap on this sandals.Then, if we talk about comfort, there are another 5 stars. It is true to size, so i would recommend to get the size you usually wear. I think they are very comfy to walk with and they do not slip.They are not very high, they are 3 inches tall heels. They are a great combination between elegancy and comfort. I really enjoy walking with this shoes. And I have received lots of compliments about them.At the beginning I thought about getting them as a gift to a cousin that fits the same size as me but, I ended up keeping them. I am really happy with this heels. They have great support while walking, heels feel sturdy and they are great if you go out dancing.
