This was the first pair of soccer shoes for our 5-year old boy. They fit perfectly, his feet don’t hurt, no blisters, etc. and they last. I have played half of my life and wish my first pair was as great as this.True to size, good quality and great value. Adidas is the way to go for soccer!!Would definitely recommend.
My 8-year-old son is new to soccer, so I don't have too much experience with soccer cleats. We went to a local sporting goods store to purchase cleats, but they didn't have any available in the color scheme that he was interested in. He tried many pairs on in the store and was consistently comfortable in size 3.5, which is the size I ordered for him here. They fit the same as the cleats in store, although he usually wears a size 3 in regular shoes. They are quite narrow, but that seems to be par for the course as far as cleats go. My son claims they make him run much faster due to the added grip to the turf, and he says they are comfortable. If you have never had the opportunity to try cleats on in person, I might suggest sizing up just a bit since they are quite narrow. Overall, a great buy!
Ordered my sons normal size and fits him great. For the price you can’t beat it. Well made and will definitely last the season. I expect he will need a size up before next season, but I have no doubt it would last if he doesn’t outgrow them. Very cute shoes.
Used this brand for many years. It's good for starter cleat or for recreational use, but for serious player and, depending on sock quality, toe box can be tight. Otherwise, it's a good shoe.
I was so glad to find some cleats that aren't insanely expensive for something that will get worn for MAYBE two seasons if we are lucky. I read other reviews and had a hard time deciding whether to order 1.5 or 2 for my 5yo. He primarily wears Plae shoes and is currently in a 1, and is still wearing his size 13 Native shoes from last year. I decided to go for the 2. He probably would have been ok in 1.5, but would definitely only get one season out of them. The 2s should fit great when he has on his thick socks and shin guards, and I think he's got enough room that he'll be able to wear them for a second season. The pictures are comparing the size 2 cleats to size 13 Natives and size 1 Plae shoes to give an idea how sizing compares across other brands. Hope that helps others trying to figure out sizes, and thanks to all who discussed size in their reviews!
These are very affordable and work great. They are good quality and with how fast my boys grow out of shoes these are perfect! Will order again for sure!
We needed new cleats fast for my son's baseball season. I ended up ordering a size 4 and a 4.5 just to make sure that he would have ones that fit well. He is 10 years old and the 4.5 Big Kid worked best for him. You can't beat the price at $10.19 either. Just a warning. As mentioned in another review, the sizing is labeled "infant" under "My orders" and it freaked me out. I had to go back and double-check that I had ordered the Big Kid size under the drop-down menu. This is confusing. Luckily, we got the right order.
My son maybe related to Fred Flintsone. Widest feet around. And soccer cleats are IMPOSSIBLE. I ordered some $$$ NB wide cleats that truly were the same width as these. Even right out of the box, he didn’t complain. But the leather stretches and he wore his first pair for 2 seasons. They held up well (& will be used for my younger kids). A great shoe
