When it comes to outdoor footwear, the Wolverine Men's Torrent Waterproof Boot stands out for its attention to detail and thoughtful construction. The use of premium waterproof full-grain leather means that you can confidently step into puddles and wet grass without worrying about soggy socks. The classic duck boot rubber shell adds an additional layer of protection and durability, ensuring the boots hold up against wear and tear.
The interior of the boot features a fleece lining complemented by a moisture-wicking mesh, creating a cozy environment for your feet. This combination not only traps warmth but also helps manage moisture, making these boots ideal for long hikes or casual wear on rainy days.
One of the standout features is the removable EPX anti-fatigue footbed, which is designed to provide cushioning and support throughout your day. This footbed alleviates pressure on your feet during extended periods of standing or walking, making these boots a trusty companion for outdoor adventures.
The rubber lug outsole delivers excellent traction on various terrains, from slippery mud to rocky paths. This feature, paired with the vulcanized construction and nylon shank, offers stability and support for uneven surfaces.
However, it’s worth noting that these boots have a relatively low shaft height, which might not provide ample ankle support for everyone. Additionally, the style options are somewhat limited, so personal preferences might affect how appealing they are to some buyers.
Overall, the Wolverine Men's Torrent Waterproof Boot merges functionality with comfort, making it a solid choice for anyone needing reliable waterproof footwear.

Have had boots for 3 weeks and walked in 2 feet of snow and -5degree temp. Have held up well and kept feet warm and dry. The heal is kind of high and makes for less controlled traction on ice. However, I neve felt/slipped while wearing them. I did replace laces with better more stretchy laces for easy in and out. Boots did fit larger than expected
I wore these boots for the first time this weekend shoveling snow and they kept my feet dry. These are good looking boots definitely worth the $$$.
I haven't worn these enough to test for water prevention. They are lined, so not for a rainy summer day. They feel about 1/2 size too loose in some spots, but I needed an XW fit and going down a size would have made them too tight in the widest spot. The style is different than most duck boots, but I like that.
We ordered x wide instead of just wide and the fit great and can put on extra thick Sox’s very happy
Have to say these are about the best water boots I've ever had I've been through so many I work in the pool business and so I'm On My Feet and constantly having wet feet but these boots don't have to worry about that at all and you can go about your business all day with dry feet thank you Wolverine and Amazon.
I order extra wide and they do not feel extra wide.
I was replacing a very old pair of slip-ons and looked for a slip-on, but after reading a lot of bad reviews (even from the expensive brands), I went with these. I'm very happy with the way these fit and they are perfectly waterproof. The simple lacing is, I think, better than a slip on because you can adjust it to your own foot. I'll see how these wear, but these boots are great for snow and for wet weather.
I’m disappointed these boots aren’t waterproof as advertised and promoted. I understand it’s possible for the product to be water resistant however, it’s heavily promoted as “waterproof.” What’s even more disturbing that these boots seep water in through the ‘rubber duck’ of the boot material. In my attached picture, my thumb is pointing towards the area of where water seeps through—the rubber layers of green and brown. I walked through less than two inches of snow and my socks became damp within minutes of being outdoors. One of top reasons I purchased these boots was to prevent damp, wet, and cold socks while working outdoors in the snow.
