These boots are amazing!! they keep my feet warm and dry. They look great and they are easy to take on and off without the insert coming with it. Worth the money!!
So far, I love these boots.I don’t live in a high snow, below freezing climate. I am in the northwest(Seattle area)...so the low 20’s and/or rain is generally what we expect for winter with a snow flurry or two. I wear SmartWool socks with these boots and ordered my usual size 10.They fit well, do not feel too tight and I have not had a heel rubbing issue at all.My only complaint is that when I’m taking off the boot...it’s difficult to do so without the liner trying to come out with my foot. Not really a huge deal. Just annoying. They’ve kept my feet warm and dry and I’ve gotten many compliments on them.I have only had them for a couple of weeks, so I cannot attest to the fur matting and becoming ugly issue.
Absolutely perfect! I read through ALL of the reviews before deciding to purchase in my normal shoe size (7.5), and glad I didn't go up or down a size according to other reviews. They fit perfectly & I still have plenty of room for wearing thick socks if I choose to. They are easy to put on, easy to take off & very comfortable to walk around in. Have worn them in temperatures of 25-38 degrees F, and we're very warm without making my feet sweat. Haven't worn in the snow yet, but will update my review as soon as I do. If they're like my other sorels, I'm confident they'll be great for long wear in the snow. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
These boots are fantastically comfy around the foot and are even nice for those of us with a high instep. the laces are easily loosed without falling completely out of the hold loops, making it easier to get them off. Waterproofness has been good for me but I would make sure water isn't above the rim around the foot, as I think the water would be able to et through there, between the laces, etc. Splashes are no issue at all though. Mud doesn't really stick to them, they are easy to clean off so far. My only issue is that when walking on pavement, rocks or anything hard, your foot feels it ALL. these really need insoles. I will get some separately, but I do wish a base pair had already been in them as I needed to wear them as soon as they came. That made for a bit of ache in the feet the day after a trail walk. All in all great boots though. I highly recommend them.
These boots have been amazing. Warm, waterproof and stylish in one. They do fit like a boot, meaning to fill the space in the boot you will want to wear a thick boot socks with them to add warmth and comfort.
Unless you know for sure how this shoe fits your foot don't buy it! It cost almost as much to ship it back to the UK that the boot cost. $135 to return them! I usually wear 7 in boots and these were too Tight going on and then too big and uncomfortable one they were on. They are SO NOT worth the price that I paid. Nobody mentioned that they had to be returned to the UK. That is not cool to not mention that when purchasing something on Amazon. My first total disappointment in amazon for not mention this. One thing I have always loved about amazon is easy returns. This was an expensive return so I kept it and hope to find someone that will fit into this odd shaped boot to give them too. Not happy with Amazon!! Or this seller!
Love everything about these boots! They are so warm and comfy! I normally wear a size 8 but I got an 8.5 to be safe and they fit perfectly with thick socks! Just enough room to wiggle my toes and walk comfortably. They are a bit heavy and clunky, but that is to be expected with a nice warm winter boot! Beautiful boots!
At first when I purchaed these, I was really concerned with how they would fit overall if they would be too small or too large. I purchased a 9.5 M because I normally wear size 9 M in normal shoes, for boots I tend to wear a 9.5-10 M based on the cut of the boot. When I put these on, they’re very comfortable; a little stiff at first but once you get used to wearing them they fit just fine. They’re a little heavier than expected but they’re really meant for heavy snow and bitter cold weather (they’re supposed to keep you warm in -25 degree weather) and have waterproof soles, so they weight is something you’ll get used too. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase. They look really fashionable and the color (Black) goes with any winter coat.
