The Rocky mens Fq0005455 Mid Calf Boot offers an impressive balance between comfort and performance. One of its standout features is the padded molded foam collar, which helps to prevent discomfort during extended wear, particularly around the ankle area. The extended tongue also makes it easier to put on or take off the boot, catering to your need for convenience.
In terms of build quality, the rubber vamp and internal TPU heel stabilizer provide both durability and stability, crucial for those engaging in outdoor activities. The guaranteed Rocky waterproof construction is particularly noteworthy; it ensures that no matter the weather, your feet will remain dry, which is essential for maintaining comfort throughout the day.
The removable PU footbed allows you to customize the fit and feel according to your personal preference, enhancing the overall usability of the boot. However, be prepared for a potential break-in period, as some users report that the boots can feel stiff initially. This minor drawback is counterbalanced by the long-term benefits of the sturdy materials used in production.

My feet stay dry and very warm unless I stop and take a break. Then my toes feel the cold. Kinda weird, but just the tops of my toes feel the cold. But just start moving again and toes warm up. Lace'em up and no snow gets in my boots. Oh, the traction is excellent. I wore mickey mouse boots for years but I like these boots a lot more. Plus, they are lightweight and flexible. Excellent hiking boot, ice fish or just making it thru snow/ice. I wear a 10.5 which aren't available so it was suggested try size 11. It is the right call. A little extra room but feels good on the feet. Well worth the price.
I’m a woman in size 9.5 to 10 so I was a little worried about ordering a 9 in men’s but honestly they fit perfectly. They are big boots so expect that but you never have to worry about having cold or wet feet. I ice fish a lot and walked through a foot of water and snow and they stayed dry not wet AT ALL and also never cold either. I HIGHLY recommend these if your outside in cold weather or snow your feet will be warm and never get wet!!
Wore these for the first time yesterday. I spent about 5 hours outdoors working to clean up 13" of snow in 19 degree temps.I had my Fox River wool socks on, and my feet were warm and dry the entire time. Comfortable boots that aren't as clumsy to walk in as some of the pac boots I've had in the past.Too early to comment on durability, but they seem reasonably well made for the price.
The job I perform each day requires me to walk in snow and stay outside at least 6 hours. These boots work GREAT! I wear a wool sock and men's dress nylon sock and my feet are warm and dry the whole day. I do suggest each morning brush some saddle soap or mink oil on the boot to add a layer of protection from the snow and water. Highly recommend these Rocky BlizzardStalkers. Worth the money!
I have worked on docks in Chicago for 30 years and these are the warmest boots I have ever worn. I didn't want to go higher than 1200g cause I was afraid my feet would sweat and then it's all over with. 1200g with 1 pair of wool socks on working the coldest part of the night from midnight till 8am and these were perfect. Never catch a chill in these boots. Only problem I have is I don't have small calves so it fits tight at the top of the boot, they should make the top of the boot a little wider but all and all even thou I have big calves it still works. If needed I will buy these again.
My husband works outside in MN cold on feet on all day. He loves his comfy boots and warm feet. The boots are holding up very well!He has gone through other boot brands, but these Rocky boots are his best boot ever!
My last pair of this model has lasted over 10 years, and are still going with the help of a little Shoe Goo. I've worn them in sub-zero temps working on an airport ramp for a year with airplane fuel, oil, etc. and they held up great. They've been serving me well now for snow removal. My only gripe is that their sizing seems off. I normally wear an 11, but these seem to be a size too big.
I've been wearing these for a a couple months or so and I can say it's money well spent. Very warm, comfortable on the feet, kind of big clonky boots but as long as you're not trying to stalk hunt in them you'll be pleased.
