A good basic winter boot. It's waterproof at least up to the ankle and made with good quality materials. I wear a 9.5 XX Wide and usually end up in a men's boot so the extended sizing is great! Very nice-looking boot that doesn't look huge! While these are good for normal winter weather (snow, temps to about 15 F) they do need a heavy wool sock for more extreme temps. They didn't keep my feet warm with regular athletic socks at around 10 degrees F and I had to change socks to stay warm. It's not a criticism, just an FYI that if temps where you live are on the harsher side, you'll want to size up to accommodate thicker socks. I didn't and they fit true to size with regular socks but are a tiny bit snug with the super thick wool socks.
I wanted a second pair of boots so I wouldn't track snow around the house letting my dog out or going to shovel. I have a pair of Propet Lumi boots in 11 extra wide that are GREAT, fuzzy, warm, comfortable, just a little wide now that my feet have settled in after surgery, so I ordered these when they were on sale for half the price of the Lumi. 11 wide fit me perfectly in the Lumi. These are far smaller, so narrow they made my feet ache just trying them on. If you've already tried on other Propet shoes, order a size wider and maybe a half size larger than you need. If you've never tried them on before, maybe consider ordering 2 sizes wider and a half size larger than you normally wear.Other than the fit, they're pretty nice boots. They seem thinner than my Lumi pair so might not be best for deep-freeze upper-Midwest-in-January weather, but have a fuzzy lining through the whole shoe so they should be good for most anything else.
Great boots! I normally wear a women's 11 double wide so it was hard to find winter snow boots that would even come close to my size. Soft inside and my feet stayed dry the whole time. They are insulated on the inside and they did keep my feet warm for the 4 hrs I was outside putting up Christmas lights in the snow. Great product, very happy!
These boots seem sturdy and looked nice, but they went right back because they run soooooo small. I wear a women's 8 normal width usually, so I bought the 8.5 extra wide width so I could put cozy socks on. Nope. I stuck my foot in with a regular sock on and it was already squeezing my foot in the toe box.
These shoes look great and feel great… can’t beat that!
The boots are perfect for rain or snow. They keep me dry and warm. I just wish they ran a little bit wider. I like to slop in my boots so that I can wear thick winter socks.
I generally wear an 11.5 2E sneaker. I figured I should go up a little with a boot & got 12 2E. Just trying them on my feet hurt. I thought I maybe need to break them In a bit & wore them around my house a few times. There was no arch support, my toes were smooshed to the front & the toe box was not wide enough. Also the instep was not roomy enough & hurt. Would like to return them but not sure since they've been worn. I really wanted to love these because they were cute & perfect for snow.
An actual wide foot! Fit perfect!
